Today we spot a G4S Cash In Transit Van whilst walking through Three Spires Shopping Centre, Lichfield WS13 6LU.
We observe for a few mins to see what he does different to the last Van we filmed - • Audit | G4S Cash In Tr...
This time, no keys where left in the ignition, no pedestrian footpaths where blocked and the vehicle seemed in good roadworthy condition.
I walked away very impressed, they even had Shopping Centre Security watching over them.
Then we have a shock, 2 Police Cars with Lights and Sirens on approach from up front and behind.
It really was a RAPID response.
I voice my concerns of the grounds for such response and we hear the reply.

Correct . Even our Court System is designed in a way that groups you into Classes . Youre "Worth" if you will is determined by both How much Tax you pay, Through your Employment. The more you pay the better youre treated. Even when it comes down to, for example, a Lawsuit for Bodily Damages . Youre Worth is based on what you do in life and That will dictate what you rec for compensation . Been there Done that is how i Learned about our system here in Canada .. Bloody hell. That officer assessed you correctly pretty much instantly and just wanted to leave you to it, he was hinting to get away for most of it. No ego, no attitude, no escalation because of attitude or ego, quite simply an officer who judged it right and handled it right. Police just follow policies made by government. Police/ councils/ courts all are private corporations with one intent .taxing the public. The system is not what you think it is. On any encounter with police your first request should be - are you working under your oath as a constable . Otherwise they are dishing out acts and statues which then makes them tax collectors .unlawful

Depends on the incident, when someone tried to break into my flat and strangle me at the door they turned up quickly. Especially after I had fought them off and pushed them down the communal stairs. Took around 3-5 mins after I placed the call. The only bad bit was that they never caught them.

What a dreadful thing to happen. Even 5 mins must have seemed an age. Response time depends on where cars are at the time of the call and the nature of the emergency I guess. Robbery tends to get either no response ( my daughter's case) or days later.

again its a call handler issue, sending 2 units out for a man with a camera! they should be trained to ask to the right questions and if it goes along the lines of " what is the man with a camera doing?" " Filming" well thats not illegal. I would expect that if the answer is something illegal then they can send 2 units.

Police, fire brigade, ambulance are all dispatched to incidents by a dispatcher who, in turn, responds to a call from the public or business. Only the original caller knows the situation on the ground, and a dispatcher would have to rely on that information. Imagine if you called in to report a fire or serious accident and a dispatcher wanted to confirm all the details and be convinced of them before deciding to dispatch a unit. We can't have it both ways. That's not to say that there doesn't appear to be a bias towards business interests, but you can't blame the responders for that. That officer was right when he said that they have to attend when they are dispatched to an incident.

i LOVE YOUR CHANNEL Really pleased the way this audit went via the police I'm a manager in a supermarket and one day the guy carrying the money they have a scanner with them well it fell in a cleaners bucket And the boxes of money if forced will coer all the money and anyone near in a dye , I tried to get the van to back up as it's need's to by something like 20 foot then the van's tracker takes over , This is if someone ever tried to take one off the road the money would not be any good as you would open it miles away and the dye would spoil it Going back, The van driver would not move , Never opened his window nothing , I shouted to his mate , He won't move so he came out the emeergeny door and was carrying it like a bomb seeing this the driver then thought it's real and reversed back But they normally have a slider at the back door , Slide the box in and a person in the van in the back marks where its from So driver runner man in van Must be what Boris is talking about zero crime area lol

To answer your question about police response, if the threat is “live”, i.e. the culprit is still on scene, officers are deployed immediately. However, if the incident is historic, I.e. a burglary has occurred but only just been found, officers are deployed “when one is available”.

Many years ago, i know people that worked cash in transit bank security for a certain big company ,Every morning you hand in your keys cash Wllet everything , The only thing your allowed was a flask ,every one in the van unscrewed the bottom of flask ,and put 60 or 80 pound in coins in the bottom of flask with one sock ,Every day 5 days a week , and left a bit of brew in the flask ,this went on for years in 1980 .£400 a week each in coins ,in 1980.You could see people walking out the yard with one sock on .

Really good audit. The police behaved in a manner that the public expect them to, courteous and non-threatening. This proves that there still are good cops out there. If somebody was to watch this video but didn't know the context or was given the narrative that you were planning to rob the money van they would probably believe that you are going to rob the van by your actions..ie you checked to see if his keys was in the ignition* because the other van you was watching you notice that he left his keys in the ignition! you also admitted to watching him and comparing him with the previous one you was watching!! And you went to check if the police counter/station was still there and if it was manned....

The right to film anything from a public place remains an important fact to make clear. Regardless of what is going on, photography is not a crime from a public place so if police are called then its a waste of time. If an attempted robbery is reported then great, respond quick, but until something is seen which indicates a robbery then no police should be called.

@@DJAUDITS I was waiting for you to tell me about the right to film in public.... I know all about it I'm a photographer and I have watched thousands & thousands of audits... (I have literally nothing else to do with my time pretty sad yeah.. actually not) just because you can... doesn't mean you should..... There are certain things don't need publicising one of them is money in transit my friend used to work for the money in transit industry he was involved in an armed robbery and had to go for therapy he wasn't the sort of guy who would go for therapy but when somebody puts a gun to your head for a couple of million pounds things start going wrong in your head especially when you're not getting out of it... The fact that police are called for little things these days shouldn't surprise you that they're gonna get called for a man acting suspiciously near a money in transit vehicle..... I'm sorry if it seems to be that I'm having a go at you I'm no.. you've got bigger balls than me doing what you do... Do you think it would be better if British auditors concentrates on the government on the police instead of private companies?after all that is where it originated

i have blocked these vans on the pavement with my track more than once , and listed the offences caused when the driver has complained . as if walking a few more feet is going to make any difference to his security, they take the Michael these guys block ramps for wheelchairs block access to cash machine but the sheep just keep grazing as the grip tightens.

My daughter delivers pizzas on an evening, about 6 months ago she got stopped by a smackhead junky standing in the middle of the road and started to smash her car up , she panicked but had the good sense to call the police (personally I’d have just run him over). She’s still waiting for the police to turn up now.
