It so easy to miss the small areas to clean, that's why for me it's important to be clutter free so I can easily see the spaces clearly, thank you Sophie for sharing that because it is so easy to forget.❤️

My parents didn't really teach me to clean properly so as a 30 year old i really appreciate these kinds of videos while I start my own home with a family. 🥰💜

Watching your cleaning videos and organization talked me in to doing some renovation on my house… gave away 5 boxes of books and will get rid of the bulky bookshelf. Did a few more refreshes around house. Going to keep going…

My bissell vet vac is light and easy to clean, but my large clunky bissell vacuum is a different story. I wipe down the outside regularly, but that's it. I've been eyeing it for a while dreading deep cleaning it, but I guess this is a sign. Thanks for the inspo.

Ugh I know, sometimes its a pain to take care of those things but important to do it to keep them running efficiently.

My mum always used to say you can tell if someone cleans their house if they don’t have crumbs under the toaster, so before she would come over it was always the first place I cleaned and only ever cleaned it when she came over 😂 Maybe more maintenance than cleaning but I just sprayed all the hinges on my doors. I don’t know why but they all seem to start to squeak at the same point in the year, maybe it’s the heat.

So funny she has a little "test", my mom is kind of like that too! Smart to go through and work on all of those hinges, helps to give them all a refresh I'm sure!

Between my own long hair and my German Shepherd's prolific shedding, my vacuum gets tangled with hair. The tool I've found most useful for getting the hair out of every part of the roller is a seam ripper!

I don't have the energy for occasional deep cleans so I prefer the little and often cleaning method. I'm naturally a very tidy person which really helps too.

Love that! You have to do what works for you!

I have been doing a complete deep cleaning. I was amazed how bad some things were. My husband had to take the ceiling fan blades off to wash in our great room because even with the vent, some grease had been circulated. And the heat and air vent closest to the stove had to be cleaned in the sink with a toothbrush.

wow sounds like you got a real deep clean!

I love your videos. Very inspirational. Just a tip. U should never turn your fixtures while cleaning. It can turn out of the socket and fall down. u can stand on some kind of step ladder and move around it.

Yes you absolutely should hire someone to come in and deep clean for you once in awhile. I cleaned my windowsills last weekend and EWWWW!

Hello you don't use glove to clean the house
@ndgrandma18182 жыл бұрын
Just curious- why would anyone wear gloves to dust, etc? I wear rubber gloves to protect my hands when I wash dishes but that’s it. 🤔
@nina0092 жыл бұрын
@@ndgrandma1818 Many cleaners can cause irritation to the skin, even natural ones as many people are sensitive to essential oils. Some multi purpose cleaners will even say not to allow contact with the skin. I personally have eczema on the palms of my hands and fingers, so I always wear gloves as it care flare up even from dust. I do have some products that are more gentle on my skin, but I wear gloves anyway because it's easier than dealing with a flare up. But if Im doing a quick wipe of my countertop or cleaning a single window with windex that my dog gunked up, I wont reach for a glove just make sure to wash my hands right away and apply some lotion. Quickly washing away that Lime Away, though, I would definitely put some gloves on for that regardless of skin conditions or not.
