I always make the bed as soon as I get up, even before the bathroom. There is a pleasure seeing a freshly made bed, which makes the room feel homey

Greetings Sophie from the UK. Very inspirational vlog. I air my bed for a minimum of one hour, then make it. Nothing nicer than a well made bed. 😌

I love the idea of the cabinet for the dirty laundry. We have a pony wall when you first come into our master, so I put the organizers that’s on wheels behind that. I got the hampers on wheels as the laundry is right outside our bedroom door, so I can just roll it there. I am on team make the bed in the morning. Only time I don’t is when I’m washing the sheets. And that’s an all day process as I need my husband’s help to rotate the mattress.

I make my bed every day-- didn't start doing that until a few years ago though. I'm retired now with adult kids, so mornings are a lot less hectic!

Great video! I related so much to all your comments regarding postpartum, almost 5 months out and everything I thought was small before becoming pregnant I am assuming won’t fit me again and I’m donating. If I ever get back down to that size I’m guessing I’ll want new clothes!! I also hate wearing shorts like you do! I have no idea why I just have never felt comfortable in shorts so I’m glad I’m not alone! I love your presorting laundry system, it makes so much sense to do that ahead of time.

I always make my bed in the morning. Love crawling in my bed at night knowing the sheets and blankets are already straighten out. Approximately how long did it take you in real time to go through the decluttering process of your dresser? Happy Saturday to you and your family. Love all your content.

We have had luck getting smells out of clothing with baking soda & vinegar, Dawn on smelly spots, Febreze liquid odor eliminator, and hanging “clean” things outside in the sun for a couple of days (this is great for baby stains). Good luck!!

How is it possible that you seem to be glowing even more post-pregnancy? Seriously, you look fantastic. Always love your organizational videos. Do you ever forget where you move things to? When we moved into our current home (16 years ago), I put the sandwich bags into one of the kitchen drawers, then immediately moved them one drawer down. Ever since, I constantly open the first drawer looking for those darn bags. It's imprinted on my brain - lol.

Are u still using branch basic? If so what's the ounces ? How much water? Concentrate?
@SophisticatedOrganization2 жыл бұрын
I am!! For the detergent their website says "1 part Branch Basics Concentrate to 2 parts water. For laundry, you'll use about 1 Tbls of the solution for a regular sized lightly soiled load. You'll need a little more for larger loads or heavily soiled loads of laundry." To make the detergent I use the lines and instructions on the bottle 😊

Are the dividers in your drawers original to the bureau, or did you add them? If you added, please share how or your source. Keep in mind it took 9 months to “lose” your former shape, so give it time to come back. 😘

I added them! They are linked in the description box 😃I love the bamboo look over a lot of the white/clear ones. That is true, I for sure need to give it some time!

Dirty Laundry in your bedroom ??? Euw!
@SophisticatedOrganization2 жыл бұрын
Yup! I don't really see a difference in that versus the closet with all your clean clothes! Of course if something is really dirty it goes straight to the laundry room.
