Eoin O'Reilly of Chubb discusses how he rationalizes the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of your robot workforce like he would an HR Hire.
Robots have their own salary (license cost), and an office space (a virtual machine) and management costs (tech oversight). So the cost per year to employ a robot might be $8,000 where a person might be $40,000.
He includes that we want to upskill our robots with AI functionality, like reading, listening, or summarizing documents those additional costs are like hiring higher level employees.
