My heart and mind keeps on changing. At first i genuinely want to forgive and just let go and move on but then days passed and the pain caught up so i made dua for that person to have a taste of what i'm going through because of him, hoping that he will realize what he had done to me and it will be an eye opener to him. Weeks passed and the hate subsided thou the pain is still there and i stopped making dua for his punishment and instead i pray that Allah guide him and remove the arrogance and evilness in his heart and to soften his heart. I always cry while making dua about for this past 3months, i can't help it. It's just so painful. I don't have the strong and brave heart that can deal with the pain that peaple causes me, i'm too emotional and weak. I easily breakdown.

Newmoonbloom i had uncles and aunts who were very forceful and verbally abusive towards my mother after my father passed away, I couldn't stand then so I cut myself away from them and their abuse. but my little brother, who's now 23 y.o had reconciled with them but they took this chance to annoy my family by only inviting him out to places and stuffs like that. I'll try hard to forgive them but is it okay but I maintained my distance from them (toxic friends and relatives) completely, cuz I knew they will hurt, look down on me and my family the second they got the chance.

As a human being, when somebody you loved so much have hurted you in a way you can not imagine, out of rage and anger i have done the same thing to that person. Then i realise the mistake and i asked that person to forgive me for the sake of Allah sub but unsucess. But that incident had an impact in my life. I started becoming calm, avoiding the temptation of Shaytan which will use the anger as a tool, I started including dua of isthighar for my family and the entire ummah by hoping strongly that Allah sub will forgive me for my mistakes.
