Once you finish the game multiples times, he is easier, on DMD he is fine, where it sucks is in dmc3 on dmd with Vergil 3, fuck he is really "hard" just because he heals and spam. But yeah, sometimes Dante can pull some impressive bullshit, especially on God Must Die (with the trainer, doesn't exist on base game)

If he goes royal guard, there's only two things you should be doing: Either get close to him and then back off again, or use your buster arm on him. Do not use ANY other attack. He will usually switch styles if you're within attack range but not hitting him, and he cannot block your buster arm.

Dont know if Anyone reads this But the two counters i found against Royal Release of Dante with Vergil. One is Rapid slash attack of vergil easiest way to Dodge Royal Release Everytime Dante cant hit u. When Dante Switches to Royal guard just Use Rapid slash He cant touch vergil with a royal release even try it trust me. And 2nd method Is Trick Dodge also with vergil using Dt but u need impeccable timing to do so which is much harder. But awesome Video👌Cheers.

this fight broke me in Hell and Hell difficulty, those random shotgun moments for dante are hard to evade. BTW, using nero agaisnt dante is easy and easier when he changes to royal guard because you can grab him with no problem.
