I think she has a very big personality and is very organised etc so sometimes when you are more laid back you can end up being slightly drained with such a personality. Doesn't mean one is right and the other isn't, it's just very different personalities that can still work well with effective communication. And being patient enough to accept that a partner won't always open up straight away and it's important to be patient enough to allow them to deal with their emotions. Big personalities sometimes struggle with this and need to reel it in and understand the need for that patience. And depending on your faith, this is where scriptures like Ephesians 5:22 should play a big role. Otherwise it doesn't normally end well. Have seen it too many times.

You guys are the best! I had trouble with communication this year. Especially surrounding the police shootings and violence. The weird thing was I didn’t realize it till I broke down crying one day. I’m getting better with communicating my feelings and supporting others as well.
