A lot of things are ramping up in aviation recruiting and that means the roller coaster is ramping up, too. 🎢
The high of the open application, the assessment invites, video interview requests, and face-to-face invitations, punctuated by the lows of resume anxiety, waiting for an update, dashboard changes, more waiting, and sometimes, a TBNT 😔 email.
Let me tell you something you need to remember.
No one’s path to success is straight.
“You can’t give up and be successful.”
Ten years and hundreds of layovers from now, this current roller coaster will be nothing but a blip on the screen of your journey.

Hi Abbie I have a question for you, I interview with American Airlines last year back in August. I believe I got all the way through until the last round and I fell in my last question so I get the job I did apply again I believe I don’t. It was too soon and I didn’t get the call back at all. How long should I wait? And should I reapply again because I pass all the interviews all the face-to-face it was the last person before I went home the last group that we were selected, which was which I was one of them, he did ask me what would you do when there’s nothing you can do about it, so would be should I reapply?

Hi Abbie, I've been watching your videos since the beginning of the year when I first aaplied to become a flight attendant for a major airline. I got my CJO with that airline, but it was going to be very expensive for me just to go to training. Then I applied a second time for another major airline, and I also received a CJO. Here's my concern, I will be 57 in January, do you think it's going to be very hard going to training considering my age? This has been my dream since I was young, and don't want to miss this amazing opportunity. Thanks in advance for your time! Also for your Great videos.

I say go for it, especially if this has been your dream since childhood. You've made it with the CJO (Congrats) go onward and upward with the training and continue to thrive as a FA. I hope to be a future FA as I am awaiting a reply from an airline and my age will be 50 in December.

Hello! I started when I was 54yrs young and I’m 57yrs prouder. Will be applying to another airline next year, so if selected I will be 57 and blessed. My opinion and it’s just me, at this age we are a little more seasoned and that would be my take away. Be Safe!💙Fly Free!✈️
