I always try to be polite in all my comments with all the channels. I also only had a few rude comments. Nice cup 🥤

@@OpenAirAdventure I just that there are those that are not kind like you Kenny. I heard someone a ways back that said “it doesn’t cost more to be nice”. I hope that you have a great day!

I use large manilla envelopes to keep everything together. Square feet of material required, patterns, time breakdown for the job, hardware requirements, and any other special notes. The name of the job goes on the outside, and if it had previous versions so I can reference older layouts if needed.

That sounds like a very organized approach. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve become a huge fan and love your videos. Today you open my eyes to the fact that before I retired where I worked, we were very process oriented. Because of that we had standard operating procedures for everything. I too have fallen into the trap of skipping a step and causing great pain. Now you’ve made me realize I need SOP’s. thank you.

On the front end it’s easy to say or think I don’t have the time to write out the steps…. Then spend more than the time saved to fix it. Reminds me of what a supervisor once said “Funny how we don’t have time to do it the right way the first time, but always the time to redo it”. Thanks for your comment

I would be so lost without my two special order forms. Much like your recipe card i have one for belts tthat gives me all necessary details for an individual belt and the other for other leather projects that I take on. Again, thanks for your videos. I like your style.

It is so nice to hear that everyone makes these mistakes! Sometimes 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫🙋🏼♀️

Yeah it can be disheartening to be working along and realize the error. Especially if you think you are the only one making the mistakes.

That is a great idea. I write things down on my patterns. How about making a leather handle that slides on to that cup? I have a similar cup that needs a handle! I like all your videos. You keep it real.

Thanks Roger. I have to get around to trying a handle for a cup and also a koozie.

Great video. Having a recipe for any thing makes the day go easier, even working on garden tractors or doing firewood. It takes the stress away having a plan. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋 And even thou I know that, I’m the world’s worst for planing. 🤭🤭 Great looking cup, they have a great channel. Thanks for the mention and I was surprised to win. Cause I never win anything. Have a great day Robert and take care. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
