I have been a victim of mass lay off march 2023. Wanted to cross skill from Social specialist to ETL developer, invested six months in learning. Not a single company is looking for inexperienced guys in the skill i have learnt, min 6+ years they digest. The coach says you have to fake skill in your registered experience. I can't lie, i dont want to break 10 commandments 😢😢😢 So many unemployed guys in social Media and digital marketing roles , a plain application to an opening wont work. Fucking tired, rapido is taking off 50-60% earnings.

Also, this job wasn't my go to job after I graduated in 2021. I have been unable to pass my certification, which is very bizarre. I haven't been able to find another job since I haven't been happy at my present job. I'm good with this job, but the support was very scarce. No one wanted to help me when I had questions. And would make up unrealistic excuses why they didn't help me. They have also in the beginning stated, "We don't fire anyone" "You fire your self", so because I'm experiencing a very difficult time, I see there are situations that frustrate me more than others. I have made the mistake of telling my supervisor about my troubled moments, and after that I have experienced them more on the majority of my calls. I have been trying to find another job, but unable to.

Yes, not all companies will welcome you, yes some might laugh at your face for asking that amount, but you continue your search and you will for sure find something you deserve.. just do not let those rejections affect your confidence..

I WFH, ad I noticed that my system is not set up the way it was in the beginning. Although things do change, im not sure this is a typical change. The first situation was not getting the support, then being cheated out of my promotion. I have received it finally, but now my calls are very complex, test. Not authentic, getting calls from the same phone number, and only shows answered calls and not received calls. Not coming through the queue, coming directly to my number. How can I prove this?

My brother was hired in amazon as sps position in march 28 (after giving assesment on dec 2023 and waiting for 2 month) he has previously worked in teleperformance in 2022 for 3 months. initially, HR told him that relieving letter is not required and he can produce supporting documents like offer letter, salary slip or F&F settlement doc. even while uploading doc for bgv in portal , chat support told him that relieving letter is not required. 15 april was his joining, and today hr asked him to show relieving letter or leave organisation. He is devastated and we all are really tense. My brother asked tp for relieving letter and they said it will take atleast 10 days to provide relieving letter. But HR uday kumar fired him stating that he donot have document. What to do now. who is at fault?

Thanks for sharing your story dear, I said 8 months because usually company's hiring process or the vision gets revised in 6 months and same for markets as well; then, even if someone is laid off in worst time(at the beginning of the market fall) 6 months+2 months(for interview process & joining) should be a doable timeframe to get another job.. though there is no hard and fast formula, just sharing what I have seen in my experience.. Hi ma'am, one question, if my company doesn't allow moonlighting or any passive income , then in such cases, what to do? Please guide me on this ma'am
@theCorporateDiaries9 ай бұрын
Dear, moonlighting is basically when you take up another full fledged job in parallel, company can't say "No passive income", most of us has investments, that's a passive income, some have rental income-that's a passive income... you get the idea.. As long as you are not using company's resources and information for your own advantage(to earn money) it doesn't matter what you do in your extra time.. its shouldn't conflict with the company's business that's all.. And if there is any company which strictly ties you by saying "do nothing at all", don't join them.. its not worth.. its a pure slavery in that case..
