What I appreciate so much about brother Zac's teaching is that he takes spiritual truth and puts it right down to the level where we all live. He doesn't just teach the theology but makes it very practical so that it is easy to apply.

This man speaks about those, who pretend to be Godly... He's a hypocrite, and doesn't seem to see it. He speaks about these "pretenders" being those, who seek admiration (loving themselves only), and yet, he does it himself. The example he gave of sending the father of his wife a "thank you" letter... He was being prideful, he was boasting. And throughout the video he had this attitude - he is high and mighty, and we should feel humbled of how far below HIM we are. He speaks about fleeing from people, who lack Goodness, but isn't that selfish and cowardly? Doesn't Bible speak about us needing to help people see the light, find faith in God? And yet, he speaks about abandoning those troubled people. He speaks about isolating ourselves in our bubble of "righteousness", and letting the rest of the people suffer. What kind of Christian is he? He also talked about "pretenders" being "lovers of money". And yet, he himself said, that it's "a waste of money" to buy his wife flowers. How is it a waste? Is your money more important to you than making your loved one happy? Why couldn't buying your wife flowers be the same "thank you", as he supposedly sent her father? Why is he only thanking her father for raising a good woman, and not thanking his wife for... being a good wife? The man in the video is no true Christian, or true Believer in God. He is full of pride, selfishness, self-love, greed, lack of respect. He contradicts himself many times throughout the video. Be aware, people. Don't blindly listen to even those, who claim to be Believers in God. That's what the man in the video said himself. About the only thing he said right.

@gg Because people might take his words as gospel, but he's nothing but one of those "pretenders", as I explained in my comment. You MUST pay attention to what he's saying, and find hypocritical and wrong words, of which there are many.

@@Gyvulys Brother. I encourage you to be smart and take from uncle Zac the information and conviction that draws you closer to CHRIST. It is always a wiser decision to focus on our personal lives and take the good input given by elders such that we can become stronger in CHRIST instead of focusing on the others lives. It's up-to you brother to criticize and be judged (or) just to listen to his words, apply it and reap a whole lot of blessings in your life. Oh and another thing, I too used to judge preachers once, but I never grew spiritually infact I became more and more worldly, but the day I was convicted of this mistake by the LORD, I took a decision, not to look at another's spiritual life but to look at my own first and correct it such that I grow closer to CHRIST. From that day on, if I find a message convicting me of my mistake, I watch it and try to change myself. If I feel the message is not right or the person is not right. I just avoid them, I think that is the best thing to do. GOD bless you brother.

I truly believe that you are gifted with wisdom. I wanted to add something that I’ve noticed. When I was listening I noticed you talked about things that you see as issues people have these days. I want to add that I noticed people seem to have a lot of nerve they call it lack of respect. But I think it’s just extremely high expectations and nerve. So many people have this take mentality and they no longer value or enjoy what they can do for others as much. For example people who argue in favor of themself when they are absolutely in the wrong. In addition, they also feel like they should be exempt from punishment that they earn with their own actions. Which is very alarming because previous generation sometimes would blame themself for things they did not even really do because they were remotely responsible for that wrong that happened. But people now seem to think that no matter what they do it’s OK and that the world should bend and change to satisfy their sick hearts. If you can relate to what I’m trying to say will you please preach on these issues

*"Church is hard"* _ Church is hard for the person walking through the doors, afraid of judgement. Church is hard for the pastor’s family, under the microscope of an entire body. Church is hard for the prodigal soul returning home, broken and battered by the world. Church is hard for the girl who looks like she has it all together, but doesn’t. Church is hard for the couple who fought the entire ride to service. Church is hard for the single mom, surrounded by couples holding hands, and seemingly perfect families. Church is hard for the widow and widower with no invitation to lunch after service. Church is hard for the deacon with an estranged child. Church is hard for the person singing worship songs, overwhelmed by the weight of the lyrics. Church is hard for the man insecure in his role as a leader. Church is hard for the wife who longs to be led by a righteous man. Church is hard for the nursery volunteer who desperately longs for a baby to love. Church is hard for the single woman and single man, praying God brings them a mate. Church is hard for the teenage girl, wearing a scarlet letter, ashamed of her mistakes. Church is hard for the sinners. Church is hard for me. It’s hard because on the outside it all looks shiny and perfect. Sunday best in behavior and dress. However, underneath those layers, you find a body of imperfect people, carnal souls, selfish motives. But, here is the beauty of church- Church isn’t a building, mentality, or expectation. Church is a body. Church is a group of sinners, saved by grace, living in fellowship as saints. Church is a body of believers bound as brothers and sisters by an eternal love. Church is a holy ground where sinners stand as equals before the Throne of Grace. Church is a refuge for broken hearts and a training ground for mighty warriors. Church is a converging of confrontation and invitation. Where sin is confronted and hearts are invited to seek restoration. Church is a lesson in faith and trust. Church is a bearer of burdens and a giver of hope. Church is a family. A family coming together, setting aside differences, forgetting past mistakes, rejoicing in the smallest of victories. Church, the body, and the circle of sinners-turned-saints, is where He resides, and if we ask, He is faithful to come. So even on the hard days at church- The days when I am at odds with a friend, When I’ve walked in bearing burdens heavier than my heart can handle, yet masking the pain with a smile on my face. When I’ve worn a scarlet letter, under the microscope. When I've longed for a baby to hold, or fought tears as the lyrics were sung. When I’ve walked back in, afraid and broken, after walking away. I’ll remember, He has never failed to meet me there. The church is us, those who fight the good fight, who fall and get back up, who love regardless of past, who encourage who accept, who forgive, who seek to me more like our risen Saviour Jesus Christ, than the flesh every day! *Thank you Jesus for The Church!"*

God bless brother Zac Poonen for preaching such an important message about spiritual life of a Christian. He has exposed so many hidden things in my own life and I ask God to help me overcome those. Thanks, the brother for posting this sermon here! One thing I disagree with is Video games are really not good for Children as well.. They are so addictive that the child will have tough time overcoming its obsession for video games once he is grown up. It is better to avoid them at early stage itself. Maybe brother Zac said it in other context.. I am not sure.

"most of the pastors you see on television are the greatest lovers of money" I agree fully with what Bro Zac is pointing out here. and I would like to warn of another trick these people do, to persuade their believers to give up the money to them. Why do they make such a big show of speaking in tongues? This is to convince unsuspecting believers that they have special knowledge from God. Another commonality, they all preach pre-tribulation rapture. And here comes the con trick: if Jesus is going to come back *before* Christians have to suffer in this world (and we are close to the end times), why do you need the comfort and security that your money can bring you? After all, once trouble comes you will be raptured. So why not contribute the money to doing God's work today because soon He is coming to take us home? This is not Biblical, Jesus did not tell us to stop planning for the future, especially with working hard and saving your money for a rainy day to provide for your family and loved ones when the difficult times of the tribulation comes (for with it will come hunger in the form of high food prices, runaway inflation etc). That's why Jesus told us, no one knows the hour. That way, we won't spend our time in idle speculation of when He may be coming and let's not work hard because after all He is coming next year or in the next five years etc. I have seen young people who were persuaded by their church pastors to give up large sums of family inheritance which they came to as one of their parents had passed away and left the money to them. I have also seen the corrosive effect of the faulty doctrine of pre-tribulation rapture on people's work ethics and the development of a fatalistic view on life. Jesus is coming so what's the point of working hard, when in three year's time we are going to heaven? Beware, such wolves only come to lie, kill and steal. Thank you Bro Zac for sharing the truth of God's words on these videos.

You don't run away from a problem, u solve it. And God never gives u a challenge / temptation / problem that u can't over come. And don't forget Christ is within his people, so if Christ is in you then who can stand against him. In my opinion i say, don't run away from those tempting women but pray that the holy spirit shows and teaches you how to overcome their seductions. Besides, which assurance do u have that when u run away from the first seductive woman, u won't find another one to wherever u have run to. Just stand in prayers, ask and trust in Christ to solve for u the problem.

#Nabakoozajustine my sister, it's Because you are a woman and not a man and you don't really understand what it means. Godly Women are good and pleasing before God but suductive women are the opposite. The most dangerous thing which has ever ruined any male being or overthrown all powerful men is a seductive woman. Ecclesiastes 7:26 says that a seductive woman is more bitter to a man than death. "Ecclesiastes 7:26 I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare, whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains. The man who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner she will ensnare." Every strong especially godly men faced temptations but the greatest one being this. Joseph, Samson, David, Solomon, and thousands. So when 2 Timothy warns us to flee from this, just know as to why? 1. You put people out of the church who are sinful listed in the passage you are preaching. 2. You claim that CFC is a place of highest standard Godliness and Godly people alone . My question is ... Are you not trying to say yours is the most righteous church ? Are you not trying to say you are there is no chance of failures in believers ? Don't You think by saying that you maintain a highest standard of righteousness and there is no place for any failures that all your believers are perfect , it is a statement of pride ? BY claiming to be maintaining a perfect standard as church is saying me the you don't really never fail as Christian.

Your understanding is wrong. These should be the traits of any faithful person following and believing in Christ: 1. Must realise he/she is in sin and needs to confess and repent. 2. Needs to safeguard his/her spirituality and refrain from committing the confessed sins or new sins. There are many so called Christians that do the things listed in the first point but fail to do the things listed in the second point. So, if there's any preacher/servant of God saying that his/her church is filled with righteous people, I'm sure he/she means that there are people in his/her church that do the things listed in the second point.

G Prasad Rao usually those who make such statement of spiritual pride watch and wait. God will humble them. Skeletons will tumble out of the closet and people will shout woe is me. You are right. However that doesn’t change the message. We must preach that which is right.

@@rpk3931 This is not God's word. This is the word of this man in the video. Man who wants us to admire HIM, not God.

Brother Zac u say that we must be eager to reconcile peace with all men but why do u shun some people from your church(based on what u said about people who dishonour their parents). Don't u think it's people like them who need Jesus the most? *Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." Mark 2-17*
