One more concern is Lab Grown means concentration of control in the hands of BigBiz and a higher carbon footprint. Pasture raised meats are part of the natural carbon cycle, sequestering carbon and improving the soil and wildlife habitat.

Interesting conversation about higher carbon footprints. These companies are not transparent about what nutrient mixes they’re using to culture the cells, which makes all the difference on their environmental impact. Something to watch out for!

In the future lab grown meat Will dominate. As population grows, the cost of Slaughtered Meat will be the most expensive, as farmland space can only insure. Cultured meat production will find cheaper energy sources in production.

I hope you’re right, it needs to both get much cheaper and win the consumers over. Both are hard to achieve in the short term, people seem terrified of lab grown meat!

@@BioLabCollective I’m very confident about that. People are humorous, as they blindly follow the media for any kind of reassurance. There will be a large campaign by Agriculture at first, causing obfuscation and fear about cultured meat (if it hasn’t already begun), but eventually man’s evolutionary destiny will adapt to cultured meat out of necessity.
