Definitely! It's going to take some work to clear out all the brush around it. I'm going to start focusing on that a little bit more now. Hoepfully, Dan will be able to come out a lot more and help with that area. We made great progress.

@@mtbingadventures1551 I've made them with flat heads for maximum dirt moving. And with spades with the front two or so inches cut off to make sort of a hybrid. Go to the local fire station and I bet they know someone. If I'm too slow getting one to you then you'll just have to have two.

@@mtbingadventures1551 sounds like a high hassle factor, but doable: Yes, private property owners in California can conduct controlled burns, also known as prescribed burns, on their property if they meet certain requirements: Obtain permits: Landowners must get the proper permits from the local air district and/or fire agency. During fire season, they also need a CAL FIRE permit. Submit a plan: Landowners must submit a smoke management plan to the air district. Prepare the area: Landowners must prepare the area for burning, which may include preparing firebreaks. Have the right equipment: Landowners should have the proper equipment, such as a sprayer that can output at least six gallons per second at 125 pounds of pressure. Get help: Landowners can recruit friends and family to help with the burn. Landowners are fully responsible if something goes wrong during a prescribed burn. California's law makes it easier for private landowners to conduct prescribed burns to reduce the number of catastrophic wildfires. The law also protects private citizens if their burn gets out of control. Prescribed burns are meant to prevent wildfires from causing irreparable harm. Most prescribed burns on private land are about 10 acres.

Sucking Chest Wound? Really? Sorry, my opinion, but that's a terrible name. Love what you are building but gimmick shock-value trail naming needs to end.

I love the name and don't see a problem with coming up with new names like this. The description fits when you try to climb this beast of single-track. Also, some of the trails I named at Everstoke have a link to my military background. 0331 and Guns Up are few examples. What name would you come up with?

We should just name trails by numbers like "Trail #10" or with descriptives like "Newly-built Trail Ride Slow. "Sucking Chest Wound" just sounds fun, it's creative rather than gimmicky or shocking.
