Aaaand now us supporters only get the first dlc... I feel like if tarkov didn't do the stinky first it would be ready or not the one to say "nuh-huh, this is and expansion gamemode, not a dlc" Honestly, they completely destroyed the game for me. Constant crashes, terrible networking, heckton of bugs like the shield mirror reflecting the global reflections so on most maps you can't see anything... I also hate having to go less lethal only for s tanks :/ Btw, a couple of features like the really low crouch, and queuing commands has been here since at least 2020. I'm surprised you didn't say that the game is too animation dependant. I've been screwed multiple times because you either load one shell, then lower the weapon, then load another shell and so on, or get stuck loading 40 shells while a guy empties his mag on you (most of these issues are from 1.0, not the dlc. Others are from way into the alpha) I hate loving this game

Probably because I enjoy Arma (so I tolerate a lot of slow animation LOL) But yeah, very poopy of them on this update. It really feels like a slap in the face to pay 10 bucks for some maps and re-braking features

This feels like you're blatantly tugging VOID The game is absolutely abysmal right now, and anyone who played prior to 1.0 will testify the exact same thing. What clearly happened is that someone screwed up at the studio, and they had to rebuild the game from the ground up; I don't see any other way the game would be left in such an atrocious state after more than 4 years in development, AND genuinely have LESS content than the early access build. Look up Port Hokan for ready or not, arguably one of the best maps that was stripped from the game. Also Hotel, another classic they just ripped. They're doing the same shit they do with iPhones, take a camera this year, give it back next year and pretend it's an additional feature worth any more shekels. Overall, wash your mouth out. this is just gross as it's blatant misinformation at best. Anyone who wants the exact same experience could emulate this entire game in Gmod with better results, and there is not a hint of sarcasm here; it's really just that bad right now

The only way to entertain the idea of it being playable 'just for fun' is to fix what the multi-hundred-million dollar 'small indid company' couldn't. Yes, they made more than $200,000,000 USD (two hundred million) but that's a whole other disgrace If the game was a restaraunt, they don't bother cooking your food and it's a 4 star resteraunt. You're expected to go fix what the chefs botched. Would you say that experience is unacceptable? Stop holding double standards. It is okay to be upset with blatant lies, false promises, and abandonment on what was originally promised. To Anyone: go to VOID's YT, videos, and sort by most popular. What is it? Their preorder trailer. Go keep track of all the things that still aren't in the game. To list a few No pvp No dedicated servers No actual campaign mode Less content than early access No ladders No drones No control over power Go look at the comments, im sure someone made a list

Hey Soda, completely understand why you feel this way about Ready Or Not. And thanks for watching the vid! :D I played prior to the 1.0 release as well, to me game development is a long and arduous process and my guess is they over promised and realized a lot of the core features weren't working very well. But now, I feel like they have a very solid base to build on - being that the core gameplay is pretty much finished and doing the right thing would be to bring in the rest of the content back into the game. (Cut power, weapons, snipers, color strips on uniforms, pvp etc.) Speaking of that, I think the customization and the weapons models they have now are fantastic - I mean really really good. I noticed a lot of maps were reworked too, the new Port Hokan is now the last mission in the game, and it appears several times in the review. The hotel, the split into two new maps I believe with the daytime one and the nighttime one, both of which are in the review as well. To me, coming from a Swat 4 perspective, I loved swat 4 - plus played elite force with it. For RON I'm sure they had to spend most of their time developing the AI for the swat team because that's a tough task as well, which means (not trying to provide excuses, just inference) they had to cut the stuff for now that isn't working how they want it. Keep in mind my review has critiques of the overall stuff I think they can improve - I was going to mention snipers and stuff but I think everyone is one the same page about that. I think the way the gameplay feels is also fantastic, and it's hard for me to go back to any other shooter which is something def. worth writing home about. 1.0 made me jump back in and full immerse myself in it, now - if I was on the Dev team I would have for sure focused on the story elements and the old school mission planning stuff, because I like that stuff but I know most people don't. For Arma 3, as an early adopter - it felt very rough until 2020. By that time, thanks to the modding community (IE: Blastcore / improved grenades / craters / sound mod / ai mods / etc.) Arma 3 is as good as it can be. Believe it or not when I was making my campaign I found out the dialogue system was never fully finished. Which is crazy right? So I had to do several work around and it's still very rough because they never fully implemented it. There's some type of hardcoded baked in -5 db when sound files are first played that drives me crrrrrrrrraaaaaaazy. Finally, my recommendation is if you haven't you gotta check out the original Rainbow Six Rogue Spear + mods. NATO 3.5 plus the full rogue spear & mission packs have so much content to sink your teeth into. And if you haven't play Swat 4 with mods - it's a bit wonky compared to RON, but still a very good game. OH almost forgot, if you have the OG ghost recon - play the Hero's Unleashed mod, it's incredible!

It seems that we have different bars set, and i should've prefaced that I not only beat the game in Irom Man mode (less than 0.1% of players have this) and have a background in programming. It's not likr i'm unfamilliar with the process, or it's headaches. I find it incredibly challenging to justify any product being in this state after- and i cannot emphasize this verifiable number enough: AT LEAST $200,000,000 USD Again, two hundred million United States Dollars. Where did that go? Because it is inarguable that ready or not doesn't reflect this price point I'm expecting a product the represents the money the community put in. I'm not asking within an unresonable time window either, as game develeopers know once you've all the jigsaw pieces for your game in the box, the last 30% of the game is drag and drop past map development. The game was in a better state in 2022 of all times, to only be showed this as top seller in 20204. I believe they're gonna get scam company reputation like that other botched release. Do me a favor, and simply record your experience attempting S ranks with the bots. I'll give you that the first 3 missions are a cakewalk to do; even with the AI not understanding how to use the less lethal. Give them pepper or bean, and see if you'd still rate the game so highly. The game is fine if they wanted to make a dystopian SWAT sim where lethality is the only option; but their entire goal was the opposite of this despite it playing like the antithesis. My tone is upset and not at you specifically because i've seen anyone who gives negative feedback promptly removed. Steam discussions took the hardest hit to this, a plethora of bans. WackyCat, who entirely phrophecized this release, VOID announcing they'd be moving onto another project, and some financial specifics which resulted in a ban for 'misinformation' when i have it on good authority that individual was a prior teammember. NoRain, godfather of S ranks prior to 1.0 got their steam and YT removed after they posted a video showing that their account was getting targeted by bots. That's just to name a few. Dig, do some research. The drivethru keeps on giving until you find yourself in a roundabout
