Paul washer is a false teacher. He teaches a false gospel that is universal, potential not actual and conditioned on man .The true gospel is the good news of the Person & work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it is concerning who Christ is and what He did to save His elect only. The gospel includes the how and why, which can only be seen by faith. It is a message that declares how the eternal Son of God came down, took on a body of sinless flesh (John 1:14) as He was born of a virgin (Mat 1:23). He was both God & man in one Person. He was born under the Law to keep and fulfill it (Mat 5:18, Gal 4:4). He did that, not for Himself, but for all those He represented because they could not keep it themselves. The word of God calls these people the elect or His sheep, among several other names. His obedient life also included the part of dying. He took on the sin of His people as both a Substitute and Representative of those people. The Bible said He was "made to be sin" (II Cor 5:21) and the way that was done is by God imputing (legally reckoned or charged to the account of) sin to Christ. That means all the sin of all those people God chose was "laid on Him" (Isaiah 53:6). This sin was legally transferred to His account and He then owned it in such a way to be guilty of it all. God the Father poured out His wrath and hatred toward sin on His Son and had pleasure (Isaiah 53:10) in doing so, in that, He was completely satisfied in Christ as a Sacrifice that met all the demands of His strict Law and inflexible justice. Christ finished the work of paying the penalty of the Law and then said " It is finished" (John 19:30). He secured salvation for all God’s chosen people that would even be born. His resurrection is evidence of the acceptance of His sacrifice to the Father. The combined work of His obedience to the Law &His obedience unto death on the cross was considered establishing righteousness. This is what one of the Old Testament prophets prophesied as "bringing in an everlasting righteousness" (Daniel 9:24) as Christ died effectually and exclusively for those chosen of God before the world began (Eph 1:4). Everything Paul Washer says is anathema to those who go through the motions of repentance; the "cultural" understanding of christianity/hillsong/megachurch/feel good, charismatic variety of salvation -- to get "the benefits of Christianity", without the daily submission to the Holy Spirit, who does the work in us [if we let Him] -- as we humbly submit and allow Him to continue the transforming and renewing, so we become a "New Creation" ... The former is the Broad Way, the wide gate the world loves & has no problem with ... The latter, is the narrow -- the "Take up the cross and follow Me ... even unto Death!

This is so true. I spent all my life searching, I was a sinner and prayed often. I started reading God's word daily a couple of years ago, I started to pray deeply and still do. Last year I was transformed. Those who knew me do not recognise me. I have given my life to God. I am now a born again Christian. Never give up, keeping seeking the Lord, he is listening to you.

@peacefulprotester3274 I stopped doing all the terrible things I used to do. I don't miss any of those things anymore. Now, I am learning about forgiving a certain person. Sometimes I think I've done it, then the thoughts (the devils weapon is my thoughts, reminding me of the evil the person puts me through), then im back needing to forgive. Its a journey, I am trying my level best to be a good child of GOD.

washer is a false teacher. The gospel means “good news”. The gospel is the proclamation of who Jesus is and what He did for His elect only. The entire Bible (Old testament and New Testament) foreshadows and proclaims who Jesus is and what He did for His elect only (John 5:39, Luke 24:44). Jesus is the Son of God (John 3:16), fully God and fully man (John 1:1 & 1:14) and second person in the Trinity (Matthew 3:16-17). The gospel is God’s testimony concerning Jesus as revealed in the Holy Scriptures by the Holy Spirit which proclaims how Jesus the Christ (John 1:41, Matthew 16:16) was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23) and born under the law to redeem His elect who were under the law and save His elect from their sins (Matthew 1:21, Galatians 4:4). God’s elect /sheep are the people past, present and future from every tribe, tongue and nation God actively chose to redeem/ justify/save based on Christ. God chose in Christ before the foundation of the world was laid according to the good pleasure of His will for His glory (Revelations 5:9, Ephesians 1:4-5). God actively created and chose a people from every tribe, tongue and nation before they were born for salvation whom God has always loved because of Christ and only Christ (Romans 8). God’s elect are vessels of mercy prepared beforehand for glory to make known the riches of His glory (Romans 9). God’s elect/sheep are God’s chosen vessels of mercy that are Jews and Gentiles because of Christ. (John 10, Romans 9:23-26, Hosea 2:23) God is Holy (Isaiah 6:3). God’s law is holy and good (Romans 7:12). The law of God demands perfection in word, thought, and deed at all times (James 2:10). The law was given through Moses (John 1:17). The law condemned all mankind and brought knowledge of sin (Romans 3:19-20). All people are under sin and none are righteous (Romans 3:9-18). Sin entered the world through Adam and death through sin and death spread to all mankind because all sinned. (Romans 5:12-13). Jesus Christ is the Passover lamb without blemish (1 Peter 1:19) for His elect by God’s sovereign grace (1 Corinthians 5:7). Just as the Israelites were released from Egypt after the death of the firstborn (Exodus 11-13) - Jesus Christ the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15) justified all His elect at the cross from the wrath of God(Romans 5:9-11). Jesus willingly went to the cross (Philippians 2:8) and offered one sacrifice for all time for His elect He sanctified (Hebrews 10:11-14) as their representative and High priest. Jesus was crucified for the elect’s sin and raised for their justification (Romans 4:25). It pleased God the Father to crush His only begotten Son( Isaiah 53:10) and God the Father accepted Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on behalf of His sheep( Acts 2:23) . Jesus paid His elect’s sin debt and there is now no condemnation for those who are married to Christ (Romans 7-8). By Christ’s knowledge He justified all His elect (Isaiah 53:11) and finished His mission (John 19:30). All of God’s sheep will believe God’s testimony concerning Christ because Jesus justified them by His perfect sacrifice on the cross. Not one sheep Jesus died for will perish. Jesus is the good shepherd. Faith(believing God’s testimony concerning Jesus) is the fruit of what Jesus accomplished for His sheep. God’s sheep are righteous before God by the imputed righteousness of Christ provided at the cross as prophesied in Psalm 32 and fulfilled in John 19. All Jesus died for are regenerated at God’s appointed time to believe God’s testimony concerning Christ on who Christ is and what He did at the cross( Acts 13:48).

I fully agree with that statement. He has the tendency to touch your soul with his words. He calls it like it is and that is how it should be. And after you have struggled and then put those words into our hearts that is when we can say, “I am a true Christian.”

I was in great sin for decades. I grew up in the church, my dad was even a pastor, but even I needed Jesus. Jesus has turned my life around and now I can’t imagine doing life without Jesus leading the way. Praise God.

I feel this. I thought I was Christian for years. My parents brought me to church. I left. I lived in great sin… I finally truly found Jesus and the changes have been drastic. Faith without works James 2 passage is in the context of discipleship and not salvation, its a contradiction to say "we are not saved by works, "BUT" faith without works is dead (if what you are referring to by "dead" = no salvation. , you are conflating two scriptures contexts and confusing babes in Christ, the simplicity of the gospel is simple and Paul warned the churches to not be stumbled by false doctrine and those who try and mix law and grace together. Repentance = greek word for metanoia which means to change your mind, in the context of true salvific biblical repentance what it is saying is change your MIND from UNBELIEF in Christ alone as your savior (aka trusting in yourself, trusting in your law keeping, trusting in your "turning from sins") and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christs finished redemptive work on the cross for remission of your sins. The gospel is the same today as it was 2000 years ago and it will never change, we are justified by GRACE alone through FAITH alone in CHRIST alone.

Amen, James is clearly speaking about practical Justification, faith in what the Word instructs us in matters of discipleship, and growth, where Paul in Romans 4 is speaking of Positional Justification that is by faith alone in Christ!! Every time I sin, I get this awful feeling in my heart. I think that is the Lord working in me. I was scared I was going to hell, and I am, but because of Jesus because He died on the cross instead of me I will go to His glory. I'm still barely changed, but It is happening.

Sanctification is a process. The longer you are a Christian, the more God molds you and makes you more like Christ. Pray for this change. Pray that God would continue to mold you, guide you, and help you to repent. Most of all, pray that He would help you to love Him more. Then keep praying for growth in these areas every day for the rest of your life. Take care and God bless.

To some this may be scary, but I can say that I'm officially cleansed. This video made me happy and thankful that God has revealed Himself to me. Not to say that I'm greater than anyone who has yet to understand but that my diligence in seeking Him is relentless, it's all I want! @ Mavors read the book of romans and interpret it verse by verse. If it makes no sense to you read the book of John and interpret it verse by verse. If it still seems foolish to you then you may be cursed, and you have much to fear. The Bible says the gospel seems foolish to those who are perishing. Your life and your soul depend on the gospel and how you respond to it. There are only two destinations and only 2 destinies. Look inward in light of the Bible and gospel to see to which you will go. JESUS said you will know them by their fruits! In other words actions speak louder than words. The Bible is either true or false and if it is true their will be evidence. If it is important and true their will be much evidence. If It is true it will be the only religion which will have evidence. Do your own independent research. Look at history, archeology, look at Bible prophecy to see if any of it came true. But the simplest way to know if it is true and to where you are destined is to seek GOD with your whole heart and read his gospel. He promised if you seek him with your whole heart you will find him.

Good point. While alcohol isn’t bad in of itself, you need to be careful. The world will say, look at the things that fill you up. Alcohol, money, fame, drugs, food. Worship them and receive joy. But in the end, they still leave you hollow without God and without Jesus and without the Holy Spirit. But God fills you up with love and holiness. They you may spread The Word without losing any love from God.

Here’s a couple good verses I like to refer to when I feel this way.. “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” 1Timothy5:8. To me this means I have the responsibility even more to be Christ-like around my atheist and agnostic family members, because I have to provide for an love them. Showing them the way to righteousness IS providing for and loving them. Another good one is.. “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭ To me this means to protect my relationship with the Lord AT ALL COST. Remain strong and courageous around your friends. You don’t have to speak the gospel around your family either, just be Christ-like. Trust me, they won’t be able to ignore your light.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NKJV‬ “Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ I can also prove that it is your sin that is allowing sickness to enter your life. Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.” Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. ANY BELIEVER WHO POSSESSES SIN AND SICKNESS IN THEIR LIFE IS PROVING THAT THEY ARE DECEIVED IN THEIR BELIEFS AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY IGNORANT IN REGARDS TO GOD AND SCRIPTURE. The majority of believers have fallen for the misguided teachings of the many false preachers and religions and they never allowed the Holy Spirit to sanctify their heart in God’s word and truth through testing the Spirits. These believers have no idea what it means to be born again since a child born of God is someone who has learned how to overcome their sin and their afflictions by going through God’s sanctification process. “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭NKJV‬ “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NKJV This is the big difference between a believer who is a Christian and a believer who is deceived. A deceived believer thinks that they will always sin and they will always have sickness in their life. A Christian knows they can never sin nor can they ever get sick since they live their life exactly “like Christ.” Here is what most certainly do not understand. Yes, scripture relates that Jesus was born without sin and that He lived His entire life without sinning so Jesus certainly was the only sinless person. However scripture is definitely not relating that His followers will always sin or that they will always have sickness in their lives. Scripture is actually stating the exact opposite of that utter nonsense and it is relating how the children of God will learn how to overcome their sin and their sicknesses in this lifetime and not the next. Many deceived believers often try to justify their sin and their sicknesses by twisting the meaning of 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. First in Romans 7 Paul is simply relating how he was a sinner until He was freed by knowing Christ and these deceived souls clearly overlook how Paul related that he had died to sin and was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6. The other scriptures are simply relating that everyone is born in sin and ignorance and so they are not living righteously and they fall short of the glory of God. They are relating that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. They also relate that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere are they ever stating that a believer will always sin as these children of the devil are foolishly believing. A true child of God can no longer sin and because they do not sin they can never get sick. So the deceived believers who sin often try to justify their afflictions by claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness. For some reason these fools desire to believe that Paul was always sick or that Paul had bad eyesight. If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone think that he was someone who had sickness in his life? Read Acts 19:11-12 and Acts 28:7-9 to prove my point. Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did him no harm how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself? These sinners also try to claim that the apostles were sinners themselves. Now did the apostles live in sin at some time in their life? They most definitely did since everyone is born in sin and in ignorance of truth. But the apostles were believers who allowed Jesus to sanctify their heart in God’s truth and they learned how to overcome their sins. This is why God then used them as His messengers and He gave them His power to heal. Read John 17:6-19 where Jesus prayed for their sanctification. Many believers also try to manipulate what John 9:3, 1 Timothy 5:23, Galatians 4:13 and Philippians 2:26 are relating in order to explain the sicknesses they possess in their sinful lives. Some will even use Job and others from the Old Covenant to try and justify their sicknesses. When these deceived believers look to the Old Covenant they completely reveal their ignorance of scripture since they fail to realize that we are all born in sin and there was no forgiveness of sins in the Old Covenant since Jesus had not arrived yet. Many others will simply claim that sin has nothing to do with sickness and they deny the very words spoken by Jesus Himself. “But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” ‭‭John‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ So if you are a believer who can still sin then your own words are proving that you do not know Jesus nor do you know scripture and you certainly do not understand the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. You are simply a deceived believer who is actually an unbeliever and you are nothing more then a child of Lucifer since you have clearly fallen for the devil’s lies in regards to scripture.

I was an atheist until around 3 years ago when I became agnostic. Then I began reading the Bible about a year and a half ago, and became a believer in Christ. I have had doubts around the idea of salvation/repentance/baptism and permanence of salvation…. I do not know that I can say I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit… but I do feel that the work has been started in me. It started when I began to realize and accept that there is a God and became open to the idea of reading the Bible honestly and not mockingly. I am still struggling with falling back into sin, but maybe it’s that I’m aware of my mistakes that convicts me that is proof that the lord has done work on my heart? The narrow road is narrow because there is only one way (faith in Christ), NOT your good deeds, and not faith + good deeds either. Faith without works James 2 passage is in the context of discipleship and not salvation, its a contradiction to say "we are not saved by works, "BUT" faith without works is dead (if what you are referring to by "dead" = no salvation. , you are conflating two scriptures contexts and confusing babes in Christ, the simplicity of the gospel is simple and Paul warned the churches to not be stumbled by false doctrine and those who try and mix law and grace together. Repentance = greek word for metanoia which means to change your mind, in the context of true salvific biblical repentance what it is saying is change your MIND from UNBELIEF in Christ alone as your savior (aka trusting in yourself, trusting in your law keeping, trusting in your "turning from sins") and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christs finished redemptive work on the cross for remission of your sins. The gospel is the same today as it was 2000 years ago and it will never change, we are justified by GRACE alone through FAITH alone in CHRIST alone.

Thank you for this message. I became a Christian long time ago in February of 2007. Unfortunate as life goes on i've been having a lot of trials and lot of responsibilities. I've been so busy working and no time to meditate and look back to God 's grace and forgiveness of me. It is really hard for me now to feel the presence of God. But i am still hoping and praying now to grant me my prayer of going back to my intimate relationship with HIM. I fee so stressful and tired of working and working to life goes on. But i am still looking and asking God to bring me back to HIs holiness. Thanks for this song and may you please include me to your prayer. I am single mom for almost 20yrs and praying to come back for His will for whatever is left in me. May God fill me His mercy and His forgiveness. Amen Paul! I have been carnal since the 11th grade, and I was continuing that life even though I accept Christ as my personal Lord and savior. But when I read Romans 6 and Ephesians 5, I knew the Word of the Lord came to me and spoke to my heart and I realized that what I was participating is of the world and I want to know God more by turning away from the sins of the world. When I witness my friends talk like the world, dress like the world, watch like the world, and even act like the world, I would walk away from them and needing God for guidance. Now I pray that I want God to continue guiding me on turning away from the sins of my friends. Thank you so much Paul Washer! Praise the Lord!

I love this message! It’s what’s missing in the modern society called church! I too was a hypocrite lost person thinking I was a Christian, until I repented of my wretched sins and He is changing me daily and I’m not going back. 2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation. I love this. I think one of the biggest mistakes churches make is that they either preach overgrace or they preach repentance as a work and not as a fruit of salvation. What i love about Paul Washer is how he gets to the core of the issue by not just telling people to repent, but to call out our lack of repentance as a potential faith issue. May God continue to use his servant.
