You know what’s sad? The fact that they even preach this during a pagan celebration. Easter is not the Passover moment. Why are Christians so blinded and ignorant to pagan rituals like Christmas and Easter? Research it-God hates paganism. Easter is pagan. Stop tainting the resurrection with a holiday rooted in pagan traditions

If there was no manipulative music I would have subbed. But as you have so little trust in God and His Holy Spirit that you need to use music. Shows me this face says one thing, but your heart believes another. Blocking you hypocrit

Jesus asked that the cup pass from Him twice. The first time He said if it be possible. Then the second time He left that phrase out. This leaves no doubt that our salvation is effected in one way and one only. It could have been effected in no other way. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the... well, you know the rese.

This is amazing! One thing I'm wondering, though: In Mt 20:22-23, Jesus says to James and John that they would drink from the same cup as he will. If the wrath of God was in that cup, how could James and John drink that same cup? Let me know your thoughts

Did you hear the preacher imply that our sins are not atoned for because the romans beat up Jesus. He said people think their sins are atoned for because the Romans beat up Jesus. Sounds like he is saying our sins are not atoned for. But our sins are atoned for because Jesus died on the cross for our sins. I don't like that the first part of his sermon because of this. Maybe there's something i'm not understanding, or maybe i'm correct in my understanding of what he was saying. If someone could reply to me that knows if i am misunderstanding, please actually explain.

I had the pleasure of hearing the late Dr. Sproul years ago, along with another preacher I'd never heard of at the time. His name was John Piper. Now, THAT was some power packed preaching. Sproul was even better in person than when I heard him on tape, and Piper was just off the charts! It was an amazing day!

Can I make a polite suggestion? That you edit this video to not include the piano music. It’s very basic 4 chord loop that very quickly gets distracting and distracts from the words and the pictures. This sermon doesn’t need a soundtrack. Respectfully, Thank you

One of the main reasons Christ suffered so much emotionally in garden which caused him to sweat blood. Is the fact that He was taking tge sin from all humanity, past present and future. All of it, and for the first time in his existence He was going to be seperates from His father. Every thought word and deed coarsing through His mind like needles. And above all that. The wrath of God.

Where does it say that in the Bible? Nowhere. That's made up Calvin doctrine. Sin is not transferable and God did not pour out wrath upon Jesus. The Bible says no such thing

@@gustavusadolphus4344 ok my friend we need to take a step back. This is not some calvinist/protestant propaganda. My friend, its in the bible. Its also common sense, Jesus is the only way (says in revelations), we are saved through him alone(says in john), and that he paid the price you and me had to pay. Our sin was too great, we could not save ourselves. We were destined for condemnation. But Jesus took that for us. The wrath of God was on US because WE are sinners, because WE are imperfect horrible sinners. But Jesus took our place and so God's wrath fell on Him. And as you know God is perfect and is without sin, thats common knowledge. So God cannot have relations with sin, so when Jesus took all the sin. He was temporarily seperated from His Father.

This is Satanic false gospel. God is not a schitzophrenic who has two sides in Him so that the wrathful side needs to be propitiated by the sacrificial side. God is not a split personality.

Making children into little robots that can repeat whatever answer the teacher wants to hear is not impressive. If you can indoctrinate a child with what you perceive is the truth so can the Christian cults. Cups in the Old Testament are symbolic of that which may be partaken in. Either by force or choice. There is a cup of salvation, cup of consolation, cup of trembling, cup of fury, cup of drunkenness, cup of horror, cup of judgement, cup of salvation, the cup of wrath in mentioned only revelation and is not the cup that Jesus must drink.
