I can't really overstate how truly wise this man is. Buddhism is also very much of Order and Patriarchy. It has its own line of Patriarchs linking to the Buddha. My point is there’s a lot on Buddhism I think one would be surprised about and it has certainly helped me come closer in my Faith after being a Zen Monk for a good while. Just like every other religion (including Christianity)!there are misconceptions and misunderstandings from the outside eye. Not every Buddhist is on the same page just as a Christian either. Anyway, just keep to the Common Sense.

This is exactly what I needed this morning. Thank you Elliott! I've been battling with finding a church. I was throwing around the idea of going to a new age church as my girlfriend is not fond of the Catholic church, and after the bad experience we had last weekend, she is totally turned off to it. Thank you for the meme, that is what I needed to know it is an order of Christ and not of man. I believe the Catholic church has been tainted by men but is still favored by God(possible video idea for you if you haven't already, might stir the pot unnecessarily so maybe not idk.) The analogy of order in life around us is really good. If you consider entropy, you will notice living things have less entropy than the disordered matter around them. Living things have order. And they cease to live when they no longer have the ability to keep that order (they decompose into matter, molecules that are simpler and that have more entropy). If you wish for spiritual life, you too must go to a more ordered state.

12:10 that’s actually a good point. I mean when you look at the archetypes of Mother Nature and Father Time. nature is chaotic and is constantly changing, it has four seasons, animals migrate, some ivy and vines grow out of control, however it’s beautiful and is delicate. Time is something that is structured and dictatorial, it tells things how long it’ll exist and if someone doesn’t pay attention time usually they get lost in a chaotic mess and in a state of disarray.

I'm "spiritual" in the sense that I believe that everything is connected because literally every atom came from star dust. Quantum entanglement reveals that particles can be somehow connected to each other no matter how far away they are and that's about the extent of my spirituality. "New age" spiritual people do seem to frame things in a magical way when more practical explanations are available. For example, there's the "law of attraction" which I believe is really just creating a vision for yourself and working towards it until it comes to fruition. & Affirmations just set up your subconscious mind / self-image to eliminate limiting beliefs and allow you to actually believe that you can achieve what you want which then allows you to create a clear vision of what you want. I think affirmations change your paradigm and beliefs to open yourself to new possibilities. If you can't change your beliefs, you can't achieve something you believe is impossible

Well, do you know what, man? At the start of February, I was going through some crazy impostor syndrome. I noticed I was saying "I feel like" and although my feelings were tense and "negative", I corrected myself some of the time there to say " I am thinking" My problem was this; I noticed I am a sinner and as a porn addict I was being beta and going against my principles. What I didn't accept because I was being discerned (the magician at work there) I couldn't understand how I can be alpha and beta simultaneously. Turns out, I am neither. I have an alpha and a beta and I must choose the alpha most of the time. The moral of the story; Identifying as either one is judgement and sets your ego up for the fall. You said in a video that impostor syndrome happens because you get attached to your persona. Because it was so subtle as a word choice and identifying with my actions and principles, I didn't realise that applied to me. Praise the Lord for my friend, for she pointed this out.

Love you Elliot, you make amazing points in this video. Please please please do more studying and research on Roman Catholicism though, there’s many man made false doctrines that they’ve added way back. Like praying to Mary, dead saints, to reduce purgatory time? Only Jesus Christ can intercede and mediate and answer our prayers(1 Timothy 3:5) . Mary admitted to being a sinner and needing God, she can’t answer our prayers… neither can the saints, only Jesus Christ can. The Pope is not the head of the church, Christ is. Praying to another man(priest) is not biblical… only Jesus can forgive us. Please please watch the documentary called American Gospel it explains this way better than any where I’ve seen. The split of the church happened because they were killed people for trying to translate the Bible, they were trying to say only the church could interpret the Bible for us… the Roman Catholic Church has made up there own doctrine for salvation making it a works gained approach rather then being saved by grace/through faith/by Christ alone/ Word alone/ For His glory alone as the Bible teaches us. Yes we need structure and discipline and fellowship/communion but we cannot over look the history and persecution that the Roman Catholic was doing to the reformers. The Pope Is just as bad the other men you stated on bringing there man made religion/denomination. I see how important masculine structure is to the growth of a society. And this structure is impossible without a reverence for ancestors and a recognition of their "spirit" flowing through us in every step, in every word, in every choice. I see how important the ability to architect the path for generations ahead is, especially in the modern climate of everyone-for-himself dogfight. But is Christianity really the answer? Honestly, how many of you guys believe it in the depth of your hearts, not merely because you like the "idea" of being religious? You may convince your children to believe in it, although it's near impossible, but do you guys really think your grandchildren are going to be Christians? The age of conventional religion is long gone, my friends. A new framework is needed to defeat the weakness and decay of the present age, a new philosophy, a new pattern. A philosophy rooted in scientific truth, not imaginary claptrap, but at the same time possessing a heroic wisdom to see beyond science. A philosophy that honours the body and the earth and doesn't treat them as second-rate filth. But where are the men for such a life to be found?

I agree with what your saying, I appreciate your view on religion and ritual. It’s true and it’s why I’ll raise my children in religion. The power of structure, especially in developing minds is extremely powerful if done right. Jeremiah talks about the new covenant through Jesus, how the law will be written inward parts and heart. Felt instinct is the law of the new covenant. Our mind, heart and soul must be aligned and balanced with this law. Where I disagree is Catholicism being the only one inspired by Jesus Christ. Emperor Constantine established the rights of the church in 315AD. A lot of the symbolism used in Catholicism is borrowed from pagan traditions. Birth of the Christ aligning with the summer solstice, in honor of Constantine’s favorite god, Sol Invictus. Most saints and angels borrowing imagery from gods such as Madonna, Isis, so on. My fiancé is Catholic and I’m ok with that but I’m not ok with airing out the very accurate truths and flaws of most Protestant faiths and not pointing the ones in the origin of Catholicism. Everything else is spot on and I agree with you 💯

I think you can be spiritual but still have structural morals and beliefs. I think this goes back to discipline. Very few people are able to expand their minds and practice self discipline. I would say this is more the issue than a religious belief cause so many cultures have many different religious beliefs. To say one is better than the other is nonsensical. I’m Native American so my beliefs fall into the idea of native people.

Imagine there’s no book whatsoever to show you how to conduct yourself in the world. No blueprint, no bible, no Quran, etc Have you ever imagined how the world would be ? More chaos or order? the thing with religion is that its going to be sufficiently useful for people who are conscious to begin with. who have some kind of connection to their intuition. if you look at people who are not like that , who are born as religious people they bastardize the hell out of it. and do alot of things that are against christ. it seems like its designed for those already conscious. and i experienced that first hand , i was in judaism , especially when i was a teenager. and something i noted was that i was really down in the dump , yet nobody chose to assist me and bring me up to their level. they just looked down on me like im some cockroach. if they decided that im not conscious enough for them. or something. maybe i dont like religion cause i dont like social groups lol

I almost got caught in it months ago. Its crazy to describe but you feel you've reached an enlightenment that no one else knows or barely understands. Yes they tell you that you are a god. I read all of this on a new age religion website of course without knowing it was of that because they dont tell you. Anyways its incredible because i believed it immediatly with no thought of it at all. It's that powerful & unless you're informed you won't be able to overcome it. The more I read the more BS i could see in front of me & then I remembered I read about this diabolical religion made by a bunch of psychologists that combined self help with hinduism and other religions while using the bible as a frontman especially Jesus Christ. They've made their own new savior I can't recall his name. Kurama or something along those lines. Anyways my Mother believes in new age religion and as you said @ 8:44 they believe the universe is energy and so the universe is god that its everything. God Created the Universe he is not the Universe. @ 11:05 Yes thats essentially what they tell you and what you become you put everything on yourself & rely only on yourself. That’s why I believe Jehovah’s witnesses have the true religion. They have an organization and are the only ones fulfilling the prophecy of preaching the good news of the kingdom in all the inhabited earth. The only ones who knock on people’s doors. They have bibles and publications translated in over 1,000 languages. And there’s over 8,000,000 of them. Just like how the Israelites were the chosen people of God, today anyone can become a witness. There’s order and a structure. You can’t just get baptized, you actually have to learn things and show you changed your ways to become one. And your only a witness once you get baptized. And baptism means you dedicated your life to do Gods will. They are the only ones making disciples of Christ and giving accurate knowledge of truth. Why do you believe in a religion that Paul of tarsus created rather than what Jesus came with? I.e. I came to affirm the law not abolish it, or I have come only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, or that hear o Israel the Lord is one? How do you reconcile trinitarian theology with the old testament and the historical Jesus? How can you follow a Bible written decades after Jesus' death by people we don't know? How can you follow a theology that Abelard himself said was unfair and unjust - the killing of an innocent? How can Jesus be both God and man? And so on and on and on..

However, any spirit who does not confess Jesus Christ came in the flesh is of the devil. Christ never founded Catholicism. It can be said that Paul founded Christianity, as they were labeled in the Acts. Don’t forget the council of Nicaea and Trent and whatever, we’re a group of men conferring amongst one another on how to found a religion. Catholicism then emerged. In Pauls words: “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.”
