“Images imprint themselves on our souls” so true. When I was 6 years old I found a bunch of playboys and hustler magazines dumped in a field. They warped me I believe by imprinting on my soul. I ducked and chucked for years many woman...never would commit myself to a woman until I had a failed relationship of my first love which was my fault. Even the woman I married and had kids with almost did not work until I learned how to control the sin imprinted in the form of lust. Once controlled by Pussy I now can love myself properly, my wife and am no longer tempted by the evil snake. Took me to age 40 though ..

Now when I get the urge to look at porn I recite the Jesus prayer and my attention shifts to Christ and my passions subside. It has been the ONLY thing that has worked for me after trying to quit porn for years. Since starting this practice I can count on one hand the number of times I watched porn in one entire year, which is hundreds less than the year before. In addition to that I have been praying to the blessed Mother of God to show me the virtue of chastity and to teach me by her example. This is a truly blessed virtue, forget fornicating, we as men need to start embracing the virtue of chastity. Glory to God!

I am struggling with these thoughts ATM and it's hard to get rid of them. For me the hardest part to dial in is my sleep. I am a light sleeper and get disturbed by low frequency noises. I just got a decent job however it requires me to work until 2am. I get to sleep around 3:30am, however where I live everyone goes to work early and I get woken up by people slamming their car doors. I'm not trying to figure out if I can live in my car or what I should do because not having good sleep is driving me crazy.

Another interesting concept I often think about maybe you do as well. If god is all knowing and all powerful, god must’ve knew what satan was going to do upon creation- therefore is the moral of the story that satan serves a purpose?- sort of like how in Hinduism Krisha proclaims he is all that is good and all that is evil. It seems to me that Catholicism/Christianity has a fear of this “dark” aspect of reality, this fear leads to not being able to recognize the significance of this duality

Most is real fact and aligned with God's will apart from the Roman Catholic references, Roman Catholic, two words that can't make sense, pagan ( read fallen angels doctrines ) roots with anti-pagan ( Read the Only One True God, the God of Abraham, Father of Jesus Christ) . I am not sure about mantra like prayers, mantra comes from Hindu Pagan religion which are repetitive and was rebuked by Jesus Christ himself.
