Mantreshwara focused on 'mother' while explaining house #4 but interestingly, chose the topic of 'intelligence' over 'children' while explaining 5. Yet, he chose the word 'saumya' or Mercury who is child of moon as per the lore. I wonder if it was intended or coincidence :) Thanks Vic for the additional note on role of Saturn. It makes sense especially for Virgo ascendant.

My mercury in Libra is close to the cusp of the 5th house. But Mercury is in its debilitated (albeit benefic) amsa in Pisces. I also have Saturn from the 8th house looking at the 5th house with its 10th aspect. It doesn't help that Saturn is in my 3rd house in both D9 and D10. I have always believed i have ADHD and find it very hard to not float away with my thoughts. I do think i move in life and think 'slowly'. I do rue the dynamism others are able to invite in their lives.

Interesting. I have Mercury in the 5th, in Leo, conjunct Mars, which is my first lord, also in Leo. Mars and Mercury are aspecting Jupiter. Mars is conjunct Ketu, and Mercury is aspecting Saturn. Also, My 5th house cusp is in cancer Amsa. Mercury in the 5th (Leo sign), in Taurus Amsa. 5th lord Sun, in Cancer sign, Virgo Amsa.

♋ 5th, Moon Feminine, I'm an Intelligent and honest individual. ... and I am, so he is accurate for my chart. In Vedic and Western, my chart is the same both calculations only degrees differ. 5th Ruler is Moon in 2nd H. Her favorite H placement, but 28° Aries. Mars also in 2nd, ♉

In addition to his absolutely beautiful figures, I love how Leonardo always took his time to do what he did. He would have never developed his oil paint glazing technique if he had always been in a hurry. He was never in a hurry ... he did what he did, informed by his own perception and intuition and rhythm. I think he carried Mona Lisa around with him for a number of years... not rushing to finish her, but lovingly nurturing her creation... over time. Most definitely a very high quality Saturn and 5th house confluence with Leonardo ❤.

My fifth lord (moon) is in the 6th house. My mercury is in the 5th and so is the Sun (the ruler of the 6th house) and Ketu.

To the extent that I have any brains at all, it shows up more vividly in the Four Pillars Chinese chart. If you interpret the Jyotish chart with aspects and conjunctions as seen by the Greeks, my 5th house starts to look a bit better.

Should we consider Jupiter as Karaka for 5th House or Mercury ? In this video our focus seems to be more on Mercury than Jupiter ..

Interesting that there is nothing about lordship of the fifth unlike what is usual for judging other houses, but you still do use it when you apply it to Einstein's chart.

i have mars and sun in 12th too. my chart in this live paying debt. in early life i hav seen violent. i got violent (pluto in 7th). my mercury (communication) and venus (charm) cant stop them. as time goes they become less violent, but trauma still here

Very very vague .even in charts of well known personalities whose life events r well know the interpretation of the. Alignment s r completely missing .vague disjointed perfunctuary.einstiens bios r easily available so fitting the chart with his life events shud not b difficult alife chart cannot b interpreted in a couple of sentences since theser very well known very well documented lives behavioral patterns and life events . matching interpretation s with their lives is completely missing .even youngsters trained by kn rao. Intheir twenties do a far better job in both general info as well as interpretation.

Thanks Vic. Very quickly I decide, to trust in my favourable tropical placement of this subject, instead of getting utterly confused by this. Because of lack of decision if to use sidereal, naksathras and their rulers... yeah... easy way works for me. Intelligent or not. 😄 Happy seasons change to all🌟💫✨️

4th house is DNA. Its the intelligence passed down from ancestors. Ashlesha is intuition intelligence through this instincts. That's why some say this is the birth place of ketu. Its linked to magha like this.

He was actually born on 28th of June with T square ( peak planets Sun,Saturn in Cancer) so it must be resolved on a way that those two planets goes in opposite sign which is Capricorn and that is tehnology...

I have Venus in Virgo and Virgo amsa same degree as ascendant. My life truly does not look like a domiciel Venus :D I have a very intelligent and kind spouse but otherwise... not great! I know there is more to any horoscope but hearing this just sounded funny to my ear.

Since the houses are not always corelated to the order of the signs, to beginning with Aries, there are certain houses that correspond to other planets and signs, I have come to the following conclusion based on my understanding from your interpretation of Phalidipika: 1st House = Mercurial (Virgo) 2nd House = Venusian (Taurus) 3rd House = Martian (Aries) 4th House = Lunar (Cancer) 5th House = Mercurial (Gemini) 6th House = Saturnian (Capricorn) 7th House = Venusian (Libra) 8th House = Plutonian (Scorpio) 9th House = Jupiterian (Sagittarius) 10th House = Solar (Leo) 11th House = Uranian (Aquarius) 12th House = Neptunian (Pisces) What are you thoughts Vic? I would be glad to know your take on this.

There is a text in chapter 15 stating what the karakas of the houses are. It is the 17th text: 1. Sun 2. Jupiter 3. Mars 4. Moon & Mercury 5. Jupiter 6. Saturn & Mars 7. Venus 8. Saturn 9. Sun & Jupiter 10. Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, Saturn 11. Jupiter 12. Saturn (dyumaṇira mana-mantrī bhū-sutaḥ sauma-saumyau gurur ina-tanayārau bhārgavo bhānu-putraḥ . dinakara divi-jejyau jīva-bhānu-jña-mandāḥ sura gurur ina-sūnuḥ kārakāḥ syur vilagnāt)

Vic, could saumyarksamse (सौम्या अर्क अंशे) also mean Saumya or Mercury in the navamsha of Sun? Mercury Sun conjunction is Budhaditya yoga known to impart knowledge and wisdom to a native.
