Are you team box braids or knotless braids ?

THAT'S all I'm saying...I'm taking a break from going to get my hair braided (saving up to move) and all I do are TRADITIONAL braids or twists (meaning the knots). They look fresher longer and when I wash my hair they STILL look good vs the "knotless".

My pregnant self is team crochet box braids now but i agree traditional is my 2nd favorite thats how i learned to do box braids ❤

Knotless for ever!!! They are lighter, painless and your edges are always safe even if the braider is not professional. I'm a braider. And please, if you don't know how good a braider is, don't do box braids.

i gave myself box braids recently in august. i'm team box braids all the wayyyyy. these are VERY beautiful on you!!

I'm 56 and have been braiding my own hair for over 30 years. Its only in the last few years IG stylist have come up with the terms knot, knotless. Now looking at how I braid my hair its knots. All it is is some braid over the natural hair some braid under. Regardless Knots definitely last longer and to be honest if done well they actually look superb

Knotless braids are a no for me. Did them once and broke my hair. Looked great and people complimented me left & right. But no! Also, the gel at the roots too...omg! Wouldn't wash off and I tried alot of different shampoos, nothing helped !!! Never again! Knots + no gel! I'm here for that😅

Never looking back from knotless braids only cause I have a sensitive scalp so o prefer them- in terms of what takes a shorter time and what lasts definitely normal box braids but they too painful for me 🥹
