MashaAllah. The Quran is the Word (Command) of Allah as well as the Ruh is the Word (Creation) of Allah. There is a connection between Ruh and body, Like wise, there is a connection between Allah and The Quran. When someone reads The Quran( even a word ) it draws Allah's attention to the believer. Allah knows the best.
