I am completely free of debt. That is freedom to me. I look forward to next year when you come to Latin America. I moved here, dated two dozen Latinas and finally found my forever girl. There is nothing I miss from the Anglosphere. Well, other than MiracleWhip... 🤣

The reality is money is freedom. In the west, most of us start off with nothing and need to jump on the work hamster wheel. If we're lucky and make the right decisions we can end up with a nest egg to live on. Realistically, this takes many years if not decades. At that stage, if we're debt free, you need to reduce your costs and live more simply to become free. Loved the video and the temple does look pretty.

Living in America is living into debt everyday and every year. I was born in Cambodia but migrated to the U.S since 1983 but looking forward to maybe go back one day to retire back to my homeland. But i love America for giving me everything that I have in life up to this point.

I understand completely I think the US has opportunities for work but the cost is so high I actually left the US to work in the Middle East to make more and use tax breaks That really helped me get ahead I was living in debt in the US I like your idea of retirement in Cambodia You have duel citizenships?

Carl Jung talked of the collective conscious, I think what we have here is an awakening of minds along the lines you have described in this vid, individuals globally waking up collectively and knowing that our possessions have become our jailer and acting as you have described. I personally have done this, planed it and actioned. 65 and sold house 5 months ago, donated art collection for a fund raiser for the brain injury foundation, gave everything away, incl my Les Paul + amp, It felt right and good .All funds added to ETF and Div equities for income Just a guy answering to the calling in side me, Now i have nothing , i have everything. One way ticket to Hanoi in Jan and on from there, you are so right, its not about the stuff (ego ) its about owning your time and doing more while it gets less. I make good money and always assumed I would scale my spending to match, until I would retire at 67 (social security full retirement age). It wasn’t until age 48 that I discovered FIRE and realized there are other options. I’m 55, amassed enough, and I’m retiring at the end of this year at 56. I never married or had kids, which saddens me a bit. It’s still technically possible (albeit abroad) but I’m not sure how wise it would be.

I also trying to invest in stocks market so I can retire in couple years but I go into individual stocks because it’s gaining more money in short terms than long term. I don’t have much time for long term investments and not enough money to retire in couple years so I go for short term investment.
