I am a firm believer in the grit guard. I have one in all my buckets. It may sound stupid to put one in my rinse bucket but I use one one in my rinse bucket. It's another layer of protection. I have inspected towels and thrown my towels in the rise water and still find little particles in the bottom. I put my towel laundry through a 2 rise cycle and still very fine particles are found. so it proves to me you can wash like crazy and still have particles. The only better option is only use a towel once and toss it. that is not economical. I have a mobile detail business and I carry 100s of towels/ pads with me. I want to make sure I don't run out. anything can happen. the pad separates from the loop and it's unusable. It's fixabilable but not in the field.

I agree with Mike. Washing the lower parts of the car first is the best way to wash a car

This is the best car wash instruction video I have seen . Is Mike using the Sonax Glass Cleaner as waterless wash or is he wiping the paint down with glass cleaner after the car is washed and dried to remove oils?

I use the SONAX Glass Cleaner as my waterless wash. I've also used it as a Rinseless Wash. All this information is on the forum as that's where I share my articles and detail work. -Mike Phillips

Great content guys! Some questions/comments: - Water spots is the #1 challenge for me in South Florida. Even with CR Spotless and a Master Blaster. I'm asking "What's in the water?" but I think there is more to it than that. - Dr. Beasley needs to improve their sprayers! On the table is the best sprayer (Sonax) compared to Dr. Beasley which is flimsy and often breaks. Both great product lines but please get better sprayers Dr. Beasley! Been telling you guys that for years. - For scrubbing low profile tires, could you use a Pixie for that or what would you recommend? I'd imagine a typical polisher with the smallest pad is still a little too large. - How does this new "Prep Wash" compare to something like an IPA-type offering like CarPro Eraser? - For the CR Spotless system I believe you can use both flat or shower settings on the supplied sprayer (I use flat). Just need to control the GPM to ensure adequate mineral removal - The Dr. Beasley guy in this video seemed very knowledgeable yet had no clear purpose and didn't do or say much. Please try to interact more with the guests you have (usually you guys do but this one seemed like an outlier for some reason). Hope the detailing class went well over the weekend!

Let me see if I can answer all your questions. I'll share your constructive feedback with Dr. Beasley. 2: For scrubbing low profile tires - "no" I don't think the PiXiE will work. The brush you "could" use for a 1" backing plate in rotary mode would be too small. Any brush you use in the 3mm and 12mm free spinning random orbital modes would be too weak. 3: IPA is not good and "normal" cleaning of things like dirt, dust, air-borne contaminants. You need some measure of water and soap. 4: You are correct about the sprayer settings, thank you for your insight. Me? I prefer the shower setting so that's why I referenced it. 5: Thanks for your feedback re: Jim. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about this video. -Mike Phillips
