THANK YOU! The connection to the feet is so incredibly important and yet I see it being overlooked every single day! It always drives me insane when I see people get on and crank their horse’s head around to their stirrup at a standstill to get them to “stretch” and “bend”. That flexion means nothing if you can’t maintain the forward motion required for almost every basic maneuver. I’ve had those same people come to me wondering why their horses won’t bend on a circle, carry their body right, or round their back when asked. My simple answer is that you can’t do any of that unless you have their head AND their feet!

Suggestions on how to fix the bending head instead of moving feet please? Trying a bit less bridle with an older gelding. Thank you!
