I just replaced 6 new tires. On my RV .... Tires were 12 years old....... Plenty of tread on the tires .... Didn't show any cracks, but 12 years means it they were dryrot, no elasticity. Be safe.🖖🤠✌️❤️

Glad to hear you got them replaced. They can be very dangerous. Thanks, Patty

I always check the production year on trvel trailer tires to make sure they weren't in the back of the warehouse and forgotten about. Good info Bob.

Automobile tires, especially on cars in hot sunny climates like Florida, should be changed at the minimum every 5 years even if the mileage is low and the tread looks good. RV Tires are another situation altogether - I change mine every 4 years. Thanks for this video Bob - you are bringing tire safety awareness to lots of folks.

When I drove for National Tire Wholesale (based out of Woodbridge,Va now known as National Tire And Battery) way back in 1987 I hauled and unloaded a TON of Dunlop tires! Also, Pirelli, General, Michelin, Continental, Cooper, BF Goodrich, and, a host of others. I loved that job…until they sold out to Western Auto…and then ‘they’ went out of business here in Texas a short time later. I was the only big rig truck and trailer they had here in Texas, so, I made a very good income! Tire pressure is a BIG concern with me especially when I was in trucking and hauling a gross weight of 80,000 pounds! Good video, Bob! ~Jim~

Jessie is adamant about keeping good tires on. He does not like it when they get weather cracked or tread gets low etc. Yeah they degrade over the years even if they don't look like they have. Wow. I bet that was a heck of a ride when that tire blew out. I've no doubt it caused damage. Crazy. I'm glad you got some new tires. Want you guys to be safe when you take the car out. Great info, Bob!

Words of Safety wisdom on tire safety Bob.There are many vids on YT of RV tire blowouts and vehicular loss of of control. If that left front tire continues to lose pressure like in the past, it might be the wheel being not perfectly concentric and preventing a proper hermetic seal not the tire maybe.Could use it for a spare. Great vid.Stay safe and Happy Trails🇺🇲💙🙏☘️

This is especially relevant in places like here where we have 2 different sets of tires that are only on the vehicle for 6 months of the year. Good info Bob.
