I understood everything but was one thing that was confusing,that was when you multiplied 7x2 instead of 7x10 because that (10)was also a part of Area 2(A2)🤔🧐

It's bcz she divided it so in A1 it became 3 and in a2 it was 7

10 is just the length of the bottom of the shape. It isn't really needed to solve the problem. Sorry if my explanation is bad!

This is wrong!!!! The area is supposed to be 36sq.m because the 7 you put is absolutely wrong. The 7 is supposed to be 6 because 8-2 =6.
