AREA ZERO / 5TH LAYER (Synthwave Remix) - POKÉMON SCARLET & VIOLET ✖ MADE IN ABYSS

Took me a while to get the motivation for doing something Pokémon back, but here's something nice for you all.
I discovered this song from the Made In Abyss video game today and instantly fell in love with it. It has the same vibes as the Area Zero theme, so I made a little mash-up kind of remix. It's synthwave-y with some rock guitars, has some speed changes which kinda became my thing, and there's the cool Ichinose slap bass from the Paradox battle theme. Everything is here!

Oh, Area Zero was almost certainly inspired by The Abyss- between the super-dangerous wildlife that's found nowhere else, the beautiful, distinct layers as you descend, the realization that something people used all the time came from within it, and of course, the fact that the accompanying OST managed to capture the show's ancient-yet-futuristic musical vibes. I was half-expecting the final boss theme to take cues from Rumble of Scientific Triumph, tbh Oh, and let's not forget the fact that both stories have a main character who's going into the treasure hunter-attracting pit to look for a missing parent instead! Arven had Riko hanging out in the back of my mind the whole way down...

I pray that the MiA author won't take inspiration in SV's ending. I would be greatly devastated if in the Final Maelstrom we'd discover Lyza turned into a replica of the original one like that happened to Sada/Turo.

​Very nice theme! Makes me think... what if no one stopped the time machine and paradox forms ran rampant around Paldea, and you come to Area Zero to shut it off so Paldea has some kind of a chance? And then you need to manage to get rid of as many paradox forms as possible or seal them away? THAT would make an interesting plot. Oh, and to add to it, you side with the OPPOSITE professor of your version.
