Just quick Dave, I use, child baby corner edge protectors £3.99 on eBay for 8, free post. They come with sticky pads but I also add supper glue. Silicon and thick. Some better than others. If any corners are there the koi will always find them. Another brilliant video. Sorry about trouble with heat source.

Hi Dave Great vid again I have found Lernex pro works best if you just put your powdered dose straight in your k1 bio chamber and let it mix its self. I do hope you get on top of everything you have had some bad luck these last few years.

Ar Bin Ya Me Mon, Savage shag, bag of poo mini ashp and as you say not cheap. Get a Thermotec one shag only £450 from heatpumps4ponds or get the Aqua Forte one that James the Koi Whisperer uses. Nigel at Five Towns Koi has them on the shelf he's sold a few now, good luck with the Flukes 👍🙏

Thonk your on about the Dajawa food Les, im using that in the sleeper pond and to be fair seems really good stuff .the food in the main pond is Probites, never seen so much crap come out the fish before, like they have constant dhiarehha . 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Atsumi , so going on what your saying on visual jugeing , can you tell just by looking what parasite is upsetting the fish ? I believe the only way to determine tbis is by mucus sample ... isnt it ???👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We are dealing with the premise that such problems are inevitable if we add new KOI's carelessly when the water temperature is not stable. Therefore, we are always trying to keep everyone's wisdom in mind so that we only need to pre-sterilise twice a year. The situation is summarised in my list ‘KOI Sterilisation’. The most common visual judgements are flicking and flashing behaviour and the appearance of individuals leaving the flock and gathering at the spout. It is usual to spot them early and pre-sterilise them for the first time in spring.

Get yourself a gas boiler and run it on propane far better and cheaper to run than these air source heat pumps, my pond is21000 ltrs 24hrs to pull up one degree I could get it down to 6hrs with the help of a Chinese diesel heater

Nightmare Dave😫 Flukes are terrible lately, I had issues shifting them with multiple chemicals. In the end I used standard Lernex which is Levamisole based rather than Prazi or Flubendazole. I think it's possible that Flukes aren't as savy to Levamisole as they used to be because of treatments moving to Prazi and Flubendazole so possibly the reason why it nailed them for me. I also left it in the pond for 24hrs with just the air on and nothing else, gave time for it to do it's thing. may be worth a shot🤷‍♂ Don't the Arebos Heat pumps have a warranty on them so you can send it back?

A few weeks ago i CTd the pond 4 straight days and hit them with lernex (not pro) and it seemed to settle them bit so i never followed up , maybe i should have done . Its getting a bit cold now so ill jusy see how the fluke p performs 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Mate what are u actualy doing to ur fish? I havnt seen your channel for about 3/4month and your still banging on bout ur fish having flukes. I would say your doing more damage than good. Surely fish arnt suposed to go through so much treatment through there lives? Dont get me wrong im not a koi keeper but come on pal. They may aswel be living in a pond of treatment!

Just to clarify on what you have said in your comment James , in one respect i agree with what you say about the amount of treatments a fish goes through and i actually agree with you . But... and there is a but , when you get an issue with parasites and it nakes the fish go mad and bang off the walls of the pond injuring itself , then its time to intervine, the stuff we get sold to suppossedly treat and eradicate the fluke is at such a weak state becouse of EU laws it simply doesnt work. This is why im still banging on about flukes , if you know of anything that will get rid of them please let me know as for the past 20yrs the treatments have been basically shit .
