I have started areca cultivation from October of this year, 2022. Before planting, I've dug up to 2', mixed cow dug manure and Bevin hindi in soil. Very good and detail information. Can someone explain what is areca/betel nut actually used for? Massive newly plantation also in Indonesia. The farmer here start going to that prospect in some places. Anyway what is in matket the demand for? I listen for the consumption, painting industry n medicine. Is that true and how much the proportion. And how the forecast demand is in future. We need to know that. still cannot find a literature about it.

Use hybrid it will yield fruits within 3 years, next year it will yield double,go on increasing fruits yield but there we need to provide protine for. Plan to give more fruits. But age will be only 3 to 40 years. Benifit will be 3 time than 100 years we use normal arica nuts.

I don't prefer Mangala or shubamangala plants, they don't withstand the heavy rain and wind after growing 15ft as plants aren't strong. I do have areca plantation and for long run these plants are not good especially in regions which has heavy wind.
