Chicago Salmon Fishing 2023 Rapala J13

Rain usually brings the kings close to shore. This was mid-September and this fish hit the Rapala J13. Its mid-October now and the salmon are in all the Chicago harbors. People are catching them on spawn, cranks and spoons. I give it another week or so before the fish start turning to zombies. Thank you for the support and love at shore and on this channel.

People catch them on bass gear. I recommend 15lb test and a medium fast rod at least 7'. Good luck
