Yes you are very correct. One thing that especially young people today don't know about and don't understand is, they had to have very intense powerful lighting during live recording sessions so the video recording could be light enough to see. They did not have the technology of today. It made it very hot. Nothing like today. And yes it was a much harder atmosphere to work in.
