When Aretha franklin began making the airwaves I was a little white boy, growing up in Memphis, Tennessee and swearing I would one day marry this passionate enchantress on the radio. I'm 65 now, and the woman and her voice still astound me.

Well I am a 55 year old white dude that lives in the south, loves AC/DC and old cars but damn, Aretha Franklin was just the very best! I remember hearing her music as a kid and it was great then. Now it's just incredible! Her voice is, well, no words can really explain how some of those notes just give you a chill. Stunning. Just amazing. Wow!
