Indeed!! I was sitting listening to some of her LIVE audio concerts yesterday and seriously started to cry - Im not ashamed but I did - the emotion - the phrasing - the voice - there will be NEVER another Aretha - I know that sounds corny but it's true! - thanks for the lovely comment - love from Australia

@@MrsMattMurphy Thank you. I cried a couple of days off and on. I am retired and have been a serious fan of hers since 10 years of age. I still cannot believe my precious Aretha is gone. I had hoped to at least shake her hand one day, and fantasized about her teaching me to play the piano! I will always get Misty eyed when I think about her. God bless you from down under! P.s. I have sung all if my life. After hearing Aretha as a teen, I listen intently at the record and I copied her phrasing, tone, and even would rehearse the "screams", musically called soaring. I even sang at church one of her songs, and hoped to one day sing Never grow old for her. The list goes on and on. I am a heartbroken fan. Sorry to have gone on and on. Thanks again for the tribute.

Ive been collecting for over 20 years - I buy everything - LIVE concerts any new audios I have all but two of her albums...she is just an amazing woman it's hard to speak of her in past tense isnt it? Im at the moment collecting a huge catalogue of her LIVE concert audios and when you hear that voice in a LIVE concert I imagine myself there almost but I cry often listening to her I seriously get very emotional - God love her sons for sharing her homegoing with the world - it commenced at about 1230am here in Oz and I stayed up and watched it all - Im just so sad she had to leave this world with such a vicious disease that breaks my heart :( And dont think your alone - I have been on a lot of Aretha fan clubs over the years have made friends (cyber friends) from all over the world an the sentiment is the same - everyone is still struggling with this loss of Aretha xxx Chat anytime on my videos as much as you want or need

Yeah you wouldn't have its from a live concert she did many songs live that you don't usually hear for instance I posted Unforgettable on here live which she doesn't normally do live I have never let me go live she never does that usually only on Columbia back in the day on here is once before I go not done before that's heaps I love her live material and collect as much as I can find glad you enjoy it mate

I was looking on the net and came across this song by the Queen, it brought back many memories of how we look at those precious things that mean so much in our hearts, I remember as a young girl I had pattern my voice from this Queen and of Minnie Rippleton with those profound optics, today when I reach them it sounds like violins which I don't mind because I always sing for my Lord, not like the Angeles, but it's the love that is in our hearts for tj I Se who mean so much to us, thank God for Aretha. It shows up in her music the deep hurt but she left a great impression on us all, know one can be her,for its only One gifted voice.

I was born and raised in Chicago, but I’d always tell folks that I decided to go to Wayne state because of the “double A’s” - Aaliyah and Aretha. I now live in Mexico, but I didn’t care if I had to hitchhike my way back to Detroit for the home going energy of my queen, I was going to be in that city. Mind you, I hadn’t visited since 2009, but it was this woman’s beautiful spirit and soul and legacy that brought me back. As sad as the reasoning behind my visit, it was a much needed eye opening experience, and I attribute it all to Miss Aretha Louise Franklin, the Queen!

@@MrsMattMurphy Fairly certain that this is from Radio City Music Hall in late 1990. I was at the show and it was an unforgettable final song. I'd never heard it before. Aretha was strong all night, previewing songs from her upcoming "What You See Is What You Sweat" CD and revisiting decades worth of music.
