That Bigfoot story reminded me of a good story. Back home in Montana we used to go to this bar that held an annual Bigfoot hunt. You'd pay $20 for a "hunting license" and it came with a flashlight, a whistle, and some beef jerky. Everyone got smashed at the bar and then drove (escorted by a cop so we didn't hit anyone) out to this place in the woods that had a half acre bonfire to mark the start. At the gun shot, we would literally search for a guy who was dressed as Bigfoot and was hiding from everyone. One year I was drunkenly climbing a tree when someone found him like 20 ft away from me.

Around 08-9 I was real early 20s and working with the state. There was a sweet old lady who’s husband had recently passed from cancer and she also had cancer. One day she asked if I could help her with an errand during lunch. Of course I was happy to. The errand….? Helping her find fresh blank VHS tapes . She recorded her “stories” so at night she could watch them and shed reuse the same tape until it disintegrated. We found a box of dusty tapes at Walgreens and then that Christmas time we helped her get and setup some type of TiVo. It was when this had just come out and she thought she was living in the future with flying cars.

loving the podcast dudes! keep it up! Foley taking multiple naps a day sounds like depression, "depression naps" are a thing, and the idea "depression is clinical sadness" misleads people- think of it more like you can tune your radio to any station (including "the happy one"), but you can't turn up the volume. I'm not a doctor and I'm not diagnosing anything here- but I have this issue, and among other things that helped, the medication can help but maybe it's better to treat it like 'a cast' to keep a brain in as it heals, and not for the rest of your life, and also exercising more (I recently got a dog to motivate daily walks and jogs and keep me active, among other things), and maybe also see if Foley needs a CPAP machine, because these make your quality of sleep basically double even if you don't have sleep apnea, what with inflating your lungs with extra oxygen all night.
