Argentinian Malbec || Decants with D

1. 2018 La Posta from the Pizella family. Vivino 4.1, $17
2. 2016 Unanime from Mascota Vineyards. Vivino 4.1, JS 93, $25
3. 2017 El Enemigo. Vivino 4.4, WS 91, Tim Atkin 93, $24

Also tried El Enemigo Malbec 2017, you describe it perfectly and I also gave it 5.0 stars, incredible balance and it's my fav under $30. Love to see you make on video on its big brother Gran Enemigo All of the Unanimes are fantastic, full bodied and powerful. La Posta, I gotta try it. You got me intrigued 😅

Hi, my name is Javier, i'm from Argentina. Those are good wines indeed, obvously the Enemigo from A.Vigil is the best of those (even if their best wine is a Cab Franc and not a malbec, you should try that). La Posta is from Laura Catena, Pizzella is the family from which they bought those grapes, same with the other wines from La Posta (Armando, Paulucci -which is even better than Pizzella imho-, etc). And the Unanime is an interesting wine, those Mascota wines were known/sold in the US and some years later after they won a wine contest in France with their 2016 CS they began to sold them here in Arg too. Some great values coming out of Argentina these days. Cruz Alta Malbec Grand Reserve at Total wine is another sub $20 wine that drinks very well for the price.

Please don't laugh, but Kirkland Malbec, at $7 a bottle, is an awesome value, worthy of sharing at larger group gatherings.
