I have a bottle of the 1973 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon that won the blind tasting held in Paris in 1976. Do you have any idea how many bottles remain? At some point I'm considering putting it up for auction, but at over a half-century old, I'm not certain if it will continue to be in demand for much longer. Any thoughts?

Great video! I hope you find more Howell Mtn wines - O’Shaughnessy a good add. Try AonAir or Reverie II as well. Kill the Caymus - over rated & manipulated, I think most of us are moving on. Maybe some Mt. Veeder fruit? Diamond Mountain? Wish you all the best, Doug

Frankly, Caymus sucks. Just like Prisoner, it is straight up mass-manufactured Mega Purple swill. It has no redeeming qualities. It's over-extracted, sweet, syrupy, and lacks any complexity or structure. It somehow manages to taste a bit bland while at the same time come off as a fruit bomb, probably at least in part due to its non-existent finish. These are wines made to fool the consumer into thinking what they're drinking is fancy, by giving it a sort of artificially-induced opulence that indulges an uneducated palate. Thinking that any wine made by Constellation Brands is reminiscent of what a good wine is (or should be), simply demonstrates a significant level of inexperience.

The majority of all wine drinkers love it. Caymus needs to be discussed, if not for that reason alone.

You lost all of your credibility rating Cadmus over Mayacamas. Heck… Cadmus is not even a wine, it’s a Welch juice with mega purple.

Did not mean to do that. Mayacamus is one of my all time favorite Cabs.

This video is utter cluelessness: you decant for sediment & no other reason. The concept of "breathing" is absurd: aeration takes place as you pour it from bottle to decanter, which you only do to remove sediment. You're far too ignorant to be making a video about this.

I picked up the Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet Sauv on your recommendation and Im drinking two vintages tonight, had two options at the store, 2019 and 2020, bought both. Extreme differences. 2019 was awesome right off the pour, dense, full body, knows what it wants to be. By comparison 2020 was like a 2 yr old whiskey, thin, unfocused, more akin to vodka than barrel aged spirit, might as well have bought 2 jugs of Carlo Rossi Paisano for the money (which I also enjoy for what it is)

Amazing video. Looking forward to tasting them. Try the Mina Mesa Cab Paso Robles. Earthy tones of the Old Southwest. Only $13 per bottle at Total Wine. $22 for the magnum. If you take advantage of the $15 off $75 winery direct deal you will get the magnum for $18.
