OC is awesome! Try Sun of All, see if you like it if you do check out Rasen, I think its a good middle ground between their older (darker) stuff like In Media Res, their prog album Redfog. And then you'd have Nija to check out, if you liked the Shaman vibe without the pirates

Awesome I hope you will get to listen to Nija because in that album you got some of their top songs like "North star of Nija" "Open Eye" "Nensha" and "The Shadowing" and the music videos for those songs are really worth going for imo.

Honestly everything they’ve ever put out is fucking sick. Their earlier stuff is more straight melodeath with a modern twist but they really came into their own on the Redfog EP. Nija was one of the best albums of 2020, and Descent is a punishingly heavy album that somehow maintains hooks. They have something special and totally deserve to blow up imo

Awesome! I'm a huge Orbit Culture fan. Met them once during their tour with In Flames and Imminence, they are absolutely fantastic. The Descent album is just phenomenal if you want to check out more from them!
