They used to have an Eastern Outdoors show at the Pennsylvania Farm Show building in Harrisburg, PA. There was a company there making the bottom half of an amphibious vehicle like the Argo. They use one sheet of material. It gets heated and vacuum formed in a vacuum mold. Then they put the formed body in a jig and drilled the holes for the axles. Those 8 wheeled amphibious vehicles used to be really popular in Central PA back in the 70's You hardly ever see them anymore.

Next time go to an industrial bearing and drive shop to get the bearings, sprokets or chains. There's no sense in paying that outrageous price premium. I live near Chattanooga TN and get my bearings from Chattanooga bearings and drive. I've been able to get bearings there anywhere from tiny R/C car when bearings all the way up to a huge multi taper self centering roller bearing about a foot in diameter. Bearings that are around the size that you would need for your machine only cost somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 to 20 dollars a piece. I'm here to tell ya, that company has saved me a small fortune allowing me to avoid the price hike of part suppliers. They usually are of higher quality than you would get from a parts warehouse. All their bearings are either made in the USA NSK or high quality made in Japan.

I get all my bearings, chains, inner 4 hole flanges and seals from the farm supply store down the road.

Nice! Do you have a working promo code for generator factory outlet? RBG does not work anymore.
@leemer13 жыл бұрын
Those 8 dimples holding the seal in place is factory. It was Argo`s way of grabbing cash when it came time to replace seals, they made you buy the whole housing. The newer design double seal at least you have a second chance at changing seals but its still designed to be a throw away..

Hey RB, I was wondering if you knew where I could purchase 301cc hemi predator valve retainers? I can't seem to find any anywhere. I lost count of how many times I ordered some that I thought were it, but ended up being for the 212cc. Or if you have a parts motor that I could possibly purchase from you? I dont mean too be a bother. If you have the time too even read this, I would be truly grateful. Thank you for your time.

Red beard, I just found you guys thanks to an ACL surgery recovery. I’ll be riding the couch for a while. I’m researching Argos and they seem slow at 20mph. I can’t seem to find anyone that has hot rodded one.....Then there’s you guys supercharging V-twins. You’ve got to supercharge the Argo (because no-one else is doing it) You also mentioned you’re looking to sell it and here’s me looking to buy one. How can I get ahold of you guys to start that conversation? Thanks for what you’re doing,
