I'll never forget my first character in Skyrim being an Argonian. Later diving into the lore and finding out that Argonians were the most badasses in the Oblivion crisis since they raided Oblivion and not the other way around, made me love them even more.

I'm so excited for my Arch-Mage of Winterhold character to head off into the rest of Tamriel in search of obscure lore and magics to bring back to the college. Beyond Skyrim is a phenomenal creation and Argonia looks uniquely incredible because it's probably THE most opposite biome to Skyrim. No wind-swept plains here, just jungle all around.

Would probably be a huge lift but would be cool for there to be a quest available to people who finished the Dark Brotherhood quest in base game to rebuild the shadow scales training facility in black marsh as alluded to in the quest in base game.

The standard Argonians will remain as they are in Skyrim. But some of the new types of Argonians will have digitigrade feet. The Sarpa you can see in this video already is. It's not as exaggerated as the digitigrade stance in TES3 though because it still needs to work with TES5 animations. How many of the other types of Argonians will be like that remains to be seen. We'd like some of them to be able to use standard NPC clothing and equipment, which the Sarpa can't do because of their altered body shapes. So at least some will be more conservative in that regard.

It's a good idea, although we are working to create the same standard that skyrim sets. But you could add a lighting mod yourself which could work with both Skyrim and Argonia. If we add our own lighting settings, things will be different between Skyrim and Argonia so you might have to turn off a lighting mod when coming to Argonia. If that makes sense.

Yep, we'll have new magic for you to learn. Still in early days in terms of planning out the magic, but so far we've got a list of 20+ new spells we'd like to include.

Unfortunately, I can safely say that Argonia will not be released on xbox. There are file size limits of xbox that we'd never be able to squeeze under even if with a Bruma-sized PR, which is one of the reasons we haven't bothered with that path.

It could be something as simple as "Me Hate Thalmor". It was certainly enough for other mods such as Moonpath to Elsweyr.

It could be something like : Knowing that the Dragonborn is too strong, a vile dragon fled Skyrim. He went to Black Marsh to seek a hidden lizard power. And the Dragonborn tries to stop him before it's too late. I imagine first village we see is in flame and that's where we begin our hunt 🏹😁

We're currently focused on making Argonia a more disease-ridden place than other parts of Tamriel. If you're an Argonian, you've got an innate +50% Disease Resistance so that'll help. If you're not an Argonian, be sure to stock up on Disease Cures and Disease Resistance effects while you can.

Foliage looks great but, why does the palisade of the village look so bad? Its just a sheet of bamboo with gaps I can fit my fist through. Not to mention those pieces of wood used as walkways seem like they dont do anything. Why not make an earthen rampart and fortify the front with bamboo? And tie long sticks vertically like a raft an arange those in segments to form the walkways?
