I went through the same thing with Husky Rogue. Now when he see’s the harness he gets excited for an outing. I use a retractable leash as well so I think he feels more free. I agree that there is a more comfortable harness. I will try to find a pic of the one I have

That was almost painful to watch, I take care of animals for a living, they all seem to hate harnesses, even the least restricting ones, but they do get used to them. You are so incredibly patient with him. No wonder he adores you so. I never rush him, he gets used to it once he's out and doing his thing, but it's always a battle to put it on. He just doesn't like them on his coat, and we've used different types since he was young. Thank you Sally :)

@@chi7818 I've seen little kids running through the malls with them on and wondered more about the parents. On one hand, you've got a parent that doesn't know how to handle her kid or is simply afraid her kid will run off, get lost, or abducted by some stranger. On the other hand, the child is maybe hyper like my nephew or extremely autistic and doesn't like holding hands with anyone and then runs away from her, especially if he or she is too big to fit in a shopping cart. I don't have any children so maybe I'm not the best person to judge here. It seems cruel and there must be better choices than just leaving the youngster home all the time. Still, my parents had no need of harnesses. They asked us where they could most likely find us if we got separated. I said: music, books and magazines, crafts, girls' clothes, or the jewelry area. My little sister and brother had to stick with them.

Wow, he really hates them! His face is so expressive it's amazing. His words are really improving. Have you tried saying no harness no food and just walking away and ignoring him? My cats hate being ignored and will come. Have to be kind of quick then putting leash on or they run away again. Just an idea. Had to click on the link soon as I was it. This is my favorite channel and the only huskey I watch. You both bring me many smiles. Thank you from Pennsylvania, usa.
