I had a Husky/Chow mix breed for almost 15 years, before old-age diabetes ended his life. Key reminds me so much of him. I always had to stand out on the deck while he did his business in the yard, because if left unsupervised, he would disappear and go on a walk-about all over the neighborhood. I miss my boy so much, but I became a caregiver to both of my parents, which prevented getting a new dog. Key reminds me of happier times, and so many of his mannerisms give me a smile or a laugh, just like they did when my Husky would do the same.
