I know you have a lot on your plate right now, but would you consider writing a kids book featuring your goats?! I think you could use them to tell a story about the importance of excepting everyone no matter how “unique” they are. Every time I see the white one with her buck teeth I just see a fantastic character for a kids book.

Ben, you're a boy after my own heart! I'm a knife girl. Jess, we have been having a real mild spell up here in CT too. Very unusual, but I got to throw some garlic in the ground for the first time ever so I'm excited about that. Fingers crossed🥨 that they grow! I know that the boys aren't going back to homeschool quite yet, but I can SEE a difference in them. Since you moved they haven't been as active when they were in your videos. Today they were excited about it. My heart about melted when they helped you bless us. I'm so happy for your family! Blessed Be!💖

It's so great your kids will be able to learn real life skills with home schooling to come and will be better for your animals as well. Great decisions have been made indeed.

I had my gates closed, so I did not expect anyone to knock loudly on my door. Scared me to the core. I did not answer the door. When I finally found out what happened I asked the guy who had walked down the hill to my house around my gates why he did not leave a note? He said, I couldn't, your turkey was attacking me. Good boy, I thought in my mind after a 24 panic streak in trying to figure out who ignored the no trespassing sign. Ah, the beauty of guard animals! So much for all 4 dogs, humpf.

Here in South Central TN, today was our last day of the season to butcher turkeys.. just under 100 and with the amazing warm weather those babies were 17 to 27 pounds! At lunch we were discussing how amazing the entire season from late April to today, weekly chicken butchering has been the best year ever in regards to weather, usually by now we are freezing especially because we work with water... cold tap only, nothing closed up only screen windows. One day we had sprinkling rain but no down pours which makes a muddy, bloody mess. 400 plus or minus is the norm each week. The months of July and August are the break taken because the chickens do not grow as well and we get a break from the intense heat. So all that to say today was a great ending to a long season with this gorgeous weather.

The weather has been somewhat warm, we haven’t had a hard frost yet, which is unusual for Cape Cod Massachusetts . My cherry tomatoes are still blooming and trying to produce fruit. My fall garden is doing well which is a blessing. Still I’m getting ready for the inevitable winter weather. My farm is just a backyard but I still find much joy in it. Nice hanging out with you!

We live in central NC and usually have at least a light frost by the end of October. It has been the longest fall. I don’t remember ever having pleasant weather this long. No complaints for sure. Just sad I didn’t have tomatoes this year after the heat and drought of the summer messed them up. I did pick the last of my shishitos yesterday. The prediction is lows in the high 30s by Thanksgiving. Still no frost in sight. The garlic thinks that spring has come, but hopefully, they will be ok. I purchased garlic from Luke at MIGardener this year. Usually use my own left over, but there is no left over this year. I always love any content you guys make. I would love to visit your homestead one day. In my heart, you and Miah are my kids. 😂Have a blessed week and a fantastic Thanksgiving!❤
