I don’t like knives for defense cuz when you use it, there’s a good chance the bad guy won’t even notice and just keep attacking you. The threat has to feel or understand the impact of their injury for it to actually be effective for deterrence . If your trying to unalive them then yeah sure knives are great but sometimes i just want to get away. In my state brass knuckles are legal and honestly they just do the job better. If someone sees them, it’s a visual deterrent. If you have to actually use them, chances are the bad guy is gonna notice that injury right away.
