A thing to note, spells that belong to multiple schools of magic (Chaos, Astral, Shadowfrost, etc) will get an increase as long as the P3 add's debuff matches at least one of those composing an ability. PS: Don't forget that Chaos no longer includes Holy.

the guide of LFR is basically to be able to explain people what they have to do without anyone raging. But definitely, LFR is harder than normal; there's just too many people in it that are clueless, don't care or barely meet the gear requirements.

I thought the Argus fight had a lot of creativity thrown into it, but I felt it was a tad bit underwhelming. It's just us vs a big blue man and some star people - no use of Sargeras as part of the encounter at all. But eh, it was alright. As for the mechanics, I felt they were a little too simple. I wish there was more going on in the death realm, for example, when you die, instead of just dodging reused Sha models and picking up orbs. Maybe you also fight Argus while you're dead, so you have half the raid group alive fighting the physical Argus and the other half as ghosts fighting the spirit of Argus. I dunno - something! Either way, I feel they could've added a little more to this fight. It was still fun though, nonetheless. I'm just a greedy bastard who always wants more. :)

Thats not what he said, he said since this is the last raid the fights should be harder (on heroic) or maybe they're so easy (on heroic) because mythic will be really hard. That said, I think heroic argus is undertuned as fuck, his tank hits barely scratch the tank while aggramar, the boss right before him, hit harder and hit both tanks at once. + the last phase gives you a full raid brez so that you only do 40% of a boss's HP pool with 100% mana and quite a few battle rezes Meanwhile shit in ToS wiped the raid if 1 person fucked up on mythic.

Heroic is difficulty 3/4. The last boss on heroic should be DIFFICULT, to give heroic guilds with like 14 players something to aspire to. Mythic should be for the tryhardiest of the tryhard, not people who just want a challenge.

Question, why are we using bl during the adds ? On heroic I get it but on normal progressing to it why would you , you can easily kill them without bl and have it for the last phase

Also for some groups it does bring good practice for Heroic and when its your first time going through whether its normal or heroic its better safe then sorry. After you down a boss a few times then you can see where you can change when you lust and such.

I get why its done on heroic , the adds need to die fast , but on normal is there any reason to not just bloodlust on the last phase , currently we are whiping there ( only two attempts) due to people not adapting fast enough and 7 people dying at once causing the tree to go up in smoke. Also we currently have a very low dps that just stays inside as he isn't worth the damage on the tree and I noticed our dps is going up substantialy due to it ^^" not sure if this is ever going to be intended but wouldn't be fun to have to sit dead and catch orbs for 4 minutes.

well, mechs are great for this instance, but, they forgot to put gear race as prio. seems its possible to kill every boss after few weeks and thats it. tier set bonuses doesnt mean anything any more, long time ago it was flushed into wc. now its just artifact traits and legos... and youre good if got loads of time to try over and over agan. and drop amounts and rates are pretty high, so its just plain game. of course, there is many aspects of it its still great but overall... ive lost joy to play it

I was worried they were going to undertune this raid because of Tomb. And they did. At least from a norm-heroic perspective. Hopefully somehow it takes WF 3 weeks or something. Dear Fatboss TV, not sure if this is just me but sometimes I find your guide to be confusing because you jump into random scenes whenever you explain skills. I would much prefer the clip to play from start to end, and then just pause the clip in the middle whenever you need to explain something. To help your understanding, in this clip you discuss about Argus. For the 1st phase, you play the clip from start to explain Cone of Death, and then all of a sudden jump to a different scene of a different character POV to explain Soulblight. I understand you wish to pinpoint that exactly THIS is how Soulblight looks like, but in this format we don't know WHEN those are coming. If you had just paused the clip to explain both skills, we would understand that the 1st Soulblight comes 7 seconds after the 1st Cone of Death, and then these two skills overlap on the 3rd Cone of Death which means you need to drop Soublight and also watch out to dodge Cone at the same time. It is exactly these type of overlaps that gets players killed, not when skills are incoming independently. You spend too much time explaining that the Fatal Mortal Concussion Strike of the Oblivion Doomslayer from Hell-Fire gives a 24.933% HP debuff and a 76.175% mana debuff instead of focusing on what I should do when something is coming at what time. I swear to god sometimes the clip playing in the background has nothing to do with what you're explaining. Some people might say "then just watch a Fatboss clip first and then a full boss fight clip". This is not comprehensive because I would be watching the boss fight and be like... wait, was that Soulblight or something else? Focus more on time. Not the skill.

So I agree with you, but p4 is currently bugged in the sense that his Soulbomb casts are really inconsistent, doesn't happen as frequent as intended and doesn't happen at the right times. This reduces deaths, increases raid DPS and makes the phase faster than intended.

So happy I got my AOTC today! Went on LFG, saw a H Argus group and said I knew fight. Got invited. 1 shot it. Everyone seemed to be AOTC - I hadn't because real life been busy. I went 8/11H and then I got a puppy for Christmas so all I had time to do was one +15 a week for a cache. It did get me to 960ilvl though so I guess invites come easy if you're geared. Now I am on a break til next expansion xD
