In my opinion, what they should have done to argus passive is slightly lowering the (150) bonus damage while increasing the armor penetration capability to atleast 50% or perhaps slightly more. This way, argus could inflict more damage to tanky high sustainability heroes like gatot or yu zhong or any tank in general, and slightly reducing his damage to squishy heroes like marksman or mage. Because if they just buffed the amount of bonus damage his passive could inflict, it would increase his damage against tanky enemy and squishy heroes. This would make the squishy heroes like marksman stand no chance when encountering argus. But if its the penetration capability that is being buffed it will, his damage to tanky heroes would increase while his damage to marksman and mage is just the same or only very slightly increased. Correct me if iam wrong

Anyways I'll be making more gameplay videos for advance server argus so one video doesn't really show the exact difference so look forward to that !

The only thing thay makes this adjustment nad is entirely removing 2 of his feature. Instead of removing them the6 should just nerf it. Maybe reducing the defence shred by 20% or make his 2nd skill gain half rage bar when using on non hero. I hope they readjust it back. The ultimate nerf isn't that bad because it slightly weakened the speed of regen but the value remains the same.

2019 argus main here , I think argus is ruined... they removed his passive Regen on tower meaning he can't split push anymore and also most heroes don't do damage to argus on his ult and might not be able to unlock the phase 2 of argus ult making the phase 2 of his ult feels useless , it's also rare to unlock phase 2 of his ult players can just stop hitting argus and run away and come back for 5 seconds

Even after biggest nerf, Argus still viable with his spammable passive but with natural rage regen removal, double regen rage on hit mark removal, penetration removal and critical rage bonus nerf make him more reliable on ult instead being spam on his normal basic attack

TBH i think the changes now is actually more beneficial considering he can last longer in fights and in terms of penetration just buy malefic roar like any other attack speed heroes and this changes help him in the early game to be able to stand up and fight

But there is the question. Why do we have to?? Original server Argus doesnt have to build penetration so you get an extra item slot while this Argus always has to buy malefic. A lot of heroes have defense reduction. (Dyroth, silvanna, even zilong!) They can just reduce the defence ignoring to 30 or 25% not just completely remove it! This adjustment is stupid.

If you want trigger 8 seconds immortal, you must ult on early engagement or try to dive in crowd/turret with full health, with this you have chance to trigger more than 4 seconds immortal

i think the nerf kinda to much.. they can just lower the passive pen to 20% and since the skill 2 passive just can be works if you hit a hero, you have to reduce the cooldown, if you don't hit a hero, so that the clear wave isn't too bad, or if not, reduce the cooldown of the 2nd skills

Despite the nerfs, this revamped version is still better than og server version AND DEFINITELY BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS REVAMP. People don't get that moonton tends to overbuff then overnerf heroes that is under experimental changes. They stress tests heroes. Some nerfs probably gonna get reverted like the 2nd skill only activating on heroes but the rest of the nerfs we're kinda justified his pen only need to be decrease, the regen and cd nerf is justified definitely. I can definitely see this Argus going offmeta. Powerful but not Op, Viable but not a must pick.
