This movie would be on Hannibal Lecter’s movie list. Violent, Artsy and with emotional purpose. 💐 A good ‘breakup’ movie.

Seen it 3 times now, and this was the first watch where I tried to empathize with Christian. He does Dani, and He does wish to be the right guy for her. Sometimes it just runs its course. His not knowing how, or having stayed in there too long, is why he seems so disconnected. He is a Victim, for more than the obvious, but because his focus isn't aligned with hers, he's also the villain
