Not sure if you knew, but so, you see how those birds had lost feathers? Birds pluck out their feathers when stressed and anxious. Meaning, those birds were neglected or treated so horribly they did that to themselves. Another thing they will do is bite themselves. Yep. They literally self harm. It's really depressing to see that, and I'm no bird expert, I only see the parrot my grandpa owns. Just thought I'd give some info after seeing the shock on your face.

I've actually been to that bird rescue place. At my mom's house there is a small part between the roof and the top of the house and a pidgeon family has its eggs there every year, which means that eggs and baby birds fall out a lot. Luckily one day we found one of the babies in time and were able to save it and bring it to that rescue. We also brought 2-3 other pigeons from our backyard before. (Sadly we have had to see many of those babies pass and even see eggs broken on the side of our house. Hopefully we can find a way to get the old nest out and block off any entry ways so that this doesn't keep happening)

The thing I can tell you all about Cockatiels....They can get you into trouble when they talked! We had a male Cockatiel who could say two things: Here Kitty and Hey, Rick! Mom learned the hard way what happens when somebody enters a small apartment building and the first thing they hear is "Hey, Rick!" multiple times, and they think "Is there a guy in the neighbor's house?" Well Mom had to explain EVERYTHING about our bird to the male neighbor and even showed him, and the guy said "Well I'll be damned!". Lesson learned: Make sure to tell the difference between a human male voice and a male bird voice!

I have a bird, she was rescued from this person, I don't know if they thought it would be cute to put cloths, pins, hair ties and other stuff on a bird. But after I got her she wasn't so social with other people but know she's really nice still has a couple of bald spots but she's growing them back now :D

TO JAIDEN Yes, I call it their morning constitution. While asleep their stool and urine combine together in what’s called cloaca. When they awake the whole nights supply gets emptied. The green stringy looking stuff is the stool and the white and liquid part is urine.
