@shane long not really. Everyone have different tastes. There have been plenty of times a comedian I find hilarious says something like that about another comedian that I don’t find funny. Comedy is subjective. Classic example for me personally would be Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Holtzman. Tony is one of my all time favorite comedians, and he holds Holtzman up on a pedestal as one of the GOATS, yet I really can’t stand him at all and find him creepy. Doesn’t mean that Holtzman isn’t funny in general as I know he is considered a great comedian and definitely has a fan base. Or another example, being friends with someone who is friends with someone you don’t like. Your friendship with that person doesn’t automatically make you like their friend just because they are friends.

Anyone who isn’t bothered by this has probably never had a bad trip, or even a trip period or any experience with Molly or anything else. You do not have control over your behavior, and a lot of us have put those days far far behind us as adults. For good reason. Those experiences often come with a lot of pain and his wife is right, something could have happened to him, especially because it’s SO common to cut powdered substances… what a creepy weirdo Ari is. that is actually soo messed up. idk if anyone here has seen community, but theres an episode where one of the characters takes molly and it ends up mixing with his perscriptions and he ends up having a terrible trip. considering berts age, its reasonable to assume that hes on some medications and the fact that he got dosed without knowing makes it 10x worse. Ari genuinely couldve driven bert to psychosis or worse, dudes a living liability.
