Super brzmienia. Trafiłem tutaj, gdyż sam mam Arię Pro II - Laser Electric taki jazz bass arii. Jest to moja pierwsza basówka, 15 lat temu wsadziłem do niej OBP1 Aguillara i był to bas potwór. Kocham ten instrument, zawsze byłem z niego na maxa dumny. Pod cokolwiek się nie wpiąłem byłem zadowolony, a jak dawałem kabel z sygnałem w studiach, to magicy wywalali wszystkie swoje rzeczy po drodze i rejestrowali prosto ze stołu:) I nagle, strzał znikąd - padła mi przystawka - jak w tej gitarze powyżej Ty masz dwie, ja mam taką jedną przygryfową (przy mostku jazzbassowy singielek). Jak dobrze wiesz ta przystawka jest wyjątkowa. Moją gitarą opiekował się przez lata mistrz Adrian Pierożak, i on zawsze mi mówił: Ale ta Twoja przystawka to jest potęga. No i padła. Od miesiąca szukam czegoś w zamian, i nic kurna nie wymyśliłem. Jedyna opcja do DCB Aguilara, ale dranie wszędzie sprzedają po dwie w komplecie... Może masz jakiś pomysł, albo może masz jakąś ciekawą przystawkę na sprzedaż, która tam wejdzie? Pozdrawiam

that's a classical tone control with switch selector for pickup, one vol, one tone and 2 switch for serial/parallel mode for pickup. like Rickenbacher, the sound comes first and foremost from the pickups

I just got the medium-scale 1986 RSB II bass today. Sounds quite similar. I am impressed. First Matsumoku build that I've ever played, and I instantly saw, felt and heard the premium craftsmanship. May be my new nicest bass? Certainly best set-up instrument that I've ever played. I'ma get back to it now. This dude's videos of JV basses always rock my face off.

A really great demonstration here of a great bass. That's a very interesting looking specimen of the classic SB Elite II. They don't normally have the pickups with the exposed polepieces like that. Quite the intriguing score on your part, I must say! Nice work!!

Tony, (if you're still around... ?) : a lot of Aria SB as been retrofited with other Aria Pickup (MB IV - MB II...etc) because of the Epoxy 'embeded' coils that tend to fail a lot after 30+ years ! But you can also find 'New' replacement Pickup (non exposed poles) on line from a very few (but Top) company 😉

I wonder if those are the original pickups? Those look more like the ones from the CSB/RSB models.... I thought the Elite and Elite 2 did not have exposed pole pieces. Am I wrong? Amazing sounding bass! Great demo! Thanks.

Thanx, a great bass. But why this sharp fretnoise? You could either adjust strings a bit higher (just a touch will do), or /androll off some treble. Most basses sound anoingly sharp with treble at full.. :)
