Say what you want about Grande's vocal ability compared to the Queen of Soul, but Ariana did justice to this song, and she might just have brought this classic to a new generation. She does an immaculate job at rounding out vowels the whole way through but this line in particular if you watch the shape her mouth makes, as a singer myself, it is really clear to see what a difference the shape of your mouth can make in how a particular word is sung.
